  1. Reporting from Liverpool City Centre.......Wind has whipped up here after a lull, cold and biting wind as well. Heaveir snow now after long period of light sleety type stuff. The snowfall looks good-just not sticking as much as I'd like. Does anyone know the likelyhood of this freezing later on?
  2. Coming down in bucket fulls here (Liverpool City Centre). Ok it is wettish snow, but still snow and blizzard like conditions in the wind gusts. Worse in Liverpool suburbs the roads are slush covered, side roads are white - really is pelting down.
  3. What amazed me when I checked the model thread last night, was about 90% of the country under uppers of-10/-11C.......in March!!!
  4. The English Channel area looks like it's getting battered (according to Raintoday) - not sure if rain/sleet/snow
  5. I couldn't believe my eyes when I opened the curtains this morning-snowing! Light now and not sticking-but still amazing.
  6. Does anyone know what the wet stuff falling out of the sky is? Do you think God is angry because the Pope resigned..?
  7. Not quite-your statement is correct, except it will be snow outside.
  8. With 17th december 2010 fall rating as 10-I rate this as 8 at least
  9. back edge not all that far away now-coming over Llyn peninsular heading towards Angelsey.Still stupendous amounts falling here.
  10. Back edge about 2 hours away-longer this keeps as snow the better
  11. Yeah keep the faith mate-truly amazing fall tonight after the diamond dust crap we got last Friday onwards
  12. That would be a couple of South region guys reporting snow-Backtrack are U2?
  13. So that would be Van Morrison -covered in snow......sorry!
  14. Yeah we just had very heavy snow in Liverpool City Centre-getting lighter now
  15. LOL.........you just can't beat the North West thread.
  16. Light snow started here-cloud looks a bit thin-can see the moon through it
  17. Absolutely spot on my fellow Evertonian. I don't know what happened on Friday, with that amount of snow that fell, the covering was very very sad. I dunno if, because we watch the models, we go into over expectation mode I'm not sure. I never expect anything from an easterly where I am anyway, but the temperatures have been underwhelming to say the least. I'm not expecting anything from this front moving from the SE, and I also have noticed the system off SW Ireland. However I reckon if it does make it over the Irish Sea, that will hit the block and stop moving as well.
