  3. That first band looks as if it is breaking up over the Irish sea (maybe warmish sea temps 9-10C?)

  8. ......Fidllers Ferry is only about 5 miles from St helens as the crow flies. I'm sure I've seen this phenonoma here in 2009 i think.
  9. What about the steam from Fidllers Ferry-is it possible for that to freeze and fall as some snow like stuff?
  10. yup foggy here temp -1c i'm guesing its freezing fog-just heard a 737 (or airbus) climbing out of liverpool 09-so it must be patchy garden nice and crunchy to walk on, rooftops white with frost.........nice!

  13. Yeah I think I can confirm this temp inversion been -1C here since around 7oclock-refuses to budge.

  16. I'm not a bird watcher (well not the feather kind ), but I wouldn't get too excited. if you read the RSPB site, it says big winter influxes happen now and again anyway, called irruptions.

  18. Very very light snow here-so as far as I'm concerned, BT's eyebrows are safe!
