    good few rumbles of thunder, one shot-gun esque - but now moving away so short and sharp decent amount of rain though

    I think some rotation on the lowering on this one passing just to the East of chelmsford atm

    thunder every 15 seconds here -its weird not spotted a single flash yet but cloud is constantly grumbling and re-grumbling lol

    this storm just doesn't seem to be moving either than or constantly backbuilding lightning is always same plce - getting no nearer or further - good for video photography though !

    what makes the mid-low level cloud direction be at rightangles to movement - updraft ?

    mid-and lower level cloud still heading due east from here - very odd

    radar doesn't seem to be matching much what I am seeing lightning activity seems constantly in same place to my s-east best storm of the weekend so far getting lots of footage on my camera - hope it comes out well

    ok this storm is producing quite a lot of lightning now there is something odd in the way its behaving that is stoking my interest it seems almost stationary

    seems to be developing almost an 120 degree arc of low level cloud interesting indeed

    seems to be heading East ! certainly all the low-mid level cloud is going East I know the low level stuff doesn't go same direction, but the general "dark" area and lightning producing area seems to be drifting to our East from here very odd

    rumbles to our S-East getting more continental boomy in nature now could be surprisingly good ....

    nice captures Karl what ISO though as seem quite noisey - for lightning should be able to lock down at low iso

    all the stuff seemed to go to the east of us here

    S-East did OK last night - but was no-where near as impressive as Thursday night

    random rumbles here in Chelmsford atm - now I've been awoken by that very close one funny to see a SFERIC cross almost above our house on the radar plot
