  1. prob just the generalised rain that was predicted off Cornwall for around this time but its something at least

  3. ah - sorry - has GFS always shown S-East into the North Sea for the storms then ? and more thundery rain for rest of uk ? - just seems to show little instability other than in S-East?
  4. I'm on a train London to essex and I too can see development to south east
  5. On a train north of Heathrow and can see the towering Cbs to the south even from here
  6. she is not quite singing but I think she is backstage doing her exercises ready to come out on stage
  7. Chilling outside it's lovely decided to wait to see if I can hear any thunder yet as can't see any towers

  10. might just be perfect timing for the S-East - might I add incoming developed storms afternoon to develop decent temps eroding CIN at time the storms are arriving I can definately see vertical ascent of the Cu here now
  11. I think that blob to the west of France will end up just a mess of very heavy rain with a bit of maybe thunder thrown in its hardly electrical as it is - and thats on other side of channel
  12. those French storms seem to be heading from Calais almost due North West
  13. the S-East had one of its best ever evenings/nights of storms that came from the East it was quite unusual but spectacular early in the season I seem to remember - May time must be 5-6 years ago ?
  14. looks like the storms over Calais are organising themselves
  15. weather forecasters can't get it right all the time and if they did - and down to nearest 1km say it'll all be a bit boring really
  16. weirdly the clouds showing instability just 30 mins ago have all but gone - more and more blue sky now and feels hot
  17. thundery rain for most - with the odd decent import for S-East thats what I've been going for last 24 hours or so we'll see what happens later sun back out in Essex - some Cu but not looking or feeling particularly threatening atm
