  1. Is it time to resurrect this thread? Are we starting to see why that big white Landmass is called Greenland. Everything runs in cycles, it's all wave forms and frequency when it comes to Mother nature. Lets hope it takes a while yet!
  2. Your eye's don't deceive you, only other peoples influence on your mind.
  3. Hasn't this been going on since the 50's at least? Cloud seeding has been happening for years. Why are we always looking for quick fixes and new ideas to deal with a system we have developed that is against the natural way of things. Can we not stop the raping of our world by big business at the source rather than spending more money and fuel forming groups to study ways to cover the wound rather than healing it. Beam me up Scotty, i think i landed in the wrong planet!
  4. Another impressive looking cell heading right this way. Some lovely structure in these clouds today. Fingers crossed for a few more flashes. Looks like Epsom got hit with what is now heading for me.
  5. Yeah! My storm spotting skills were in tact. Lightning and a big rumble!
  6. Always look more thundery than they are these days. Looked really impressive coming over but just rain so far.
  7. Finally what looks like a beast of a storm approaching, one day with thunder here this year and i was away for it! Please Thor, do your best.
  8. Some very well raised points. People really do need to understand the conspiracy at work here. So many things should be done to enforce the responsibility of the companies producing the waste to deal with it. As you said, far to much money involved for that, turn the other way. The fact one of the greatest plants known to man (hemp or cannabis) remains controlled and criminal punishments are issued for its cultivation is beyond me. If anyone doesn't know its benefits here's a few films i found very enlightening. Run from the cure We need this madness of government to stop, it is very clear they work for big business and not real people. Meso
  9. Getting dark to the north here. First shower of the day, lets hope for some storm action!
  10. What about some other reasons other than the co2 story. Radiative spills, bombs etc. Tons of heat generating particles released. Solar cycles, flares and sunspots. A lot of support connecting the huge life giving fireball to our climate and tremor charts. Gravitational effects from comets, planets etc. Weather modification for 60+ years. Massive reduction in tress to help balance the atmosphere. Toxic Weapons testing in sea and land. I've been fascinated with all things to do with weather, earthquakes and volcanoes. I've watched them all my life and you have to admit to the frequency of these events is heating up to say the least. Only a blink in world time but our history is dotted with stories of global floods and extinctions. Then there is the huge percentage of earth years spent in ice ages. If you look at what governments around the world are doing, there is a lot of underground bunkers, seed banks, underground libraries etc being built. I think we will be getting used to seeing extreme events. Paranoia or wise observation?
  11. Hi all, The fires in Russia are unreal, really is a big event happening here. http://jotman.blogsp...-in-russia.html Also came across this, caused by a cold front?? 1 million dead fish Then we have all the historic floods that have been happening around the world this year. Does look like a tipping point is being reached. Crazy times....
  12. Good eve, I'm very concerned with the nuclear option, there is still many sites that are not clear of radiation many years after accidents. This is something i posted in the polar ice thread as i feel it is a cause to many of our climate issues. Radio Active waste. http://www.ausetute....u/nuclesum.html Above is a link to show the half life of various radioisotopes, as you can see they range from a few minutes to billions of years. This is the amount of time for half the atoms to undergo radioactive or nuclear decay. So we've had a number of incidents since the inception of this technology. http://en.wikipedia....st_of_accidents Now I'm not a scientist but my understanding is these particles which have been released into our atmosphere over the last 60 or so years are still decaying and emitting heat. These particles have landed all over the globe and have got into the water and food chain, evidence of this would be the huge increase in cancers over the last 60 years. So with these particles landing on ice and emitting heat as they breakdown, i would say has a large effect on the speed at which the ice is being attacked. I have never seen this discussed in the field of government paid science which leads me to believe in the theory more! Man made global warming may well be true, what type of pollution caused it is not openly being discussed in my eyes. Just my two cents Bless Meso
  13. Hi all, I've been reading this thread for sometime behind the scenes. From what i can gather we are looking at another year of rapidly melting ice. I have a theory which i would like to suggest as a cause to this and many other ills. 14. Some really extreme rainfall. Some of the video footage is shocking. My heart goes out to all those affected.
  15. Formed nice and quickly that band, almost passed through now, some nice heavy stuff for a while, was just starting to turn thing's white before it eased. Nice to see the temps so low today, quite surprised.
  16. Falling as snow here as i type, was very suprised to see temp so low here today. Currently 2C at 3pm.
  17. Also keep checking, big flakes in the heavier bursts but never fully turning. The difference a few degrees would make, been heavy rain all day nearly, would of been an awsome dump!
  18. Temp 2.2c DP 1c - heavy rain a little sleet at the mo Got that feeling though, its not far off! EDIT; big flakes..............mixed in.
  19. Excellent post. I'm certainly getting excited over this prospect. If it doesn't happen then so be it, but charts like these must be discussed! Still the odd pile of snow round here, best winter snowfall I've ever seen and there maybe more!
  20. A lot heavier here now, just starting to settle on the grass, roofs etc. Needs to keep up!
  21. Heavy snow now, really trying to lay, creating the layer of slush which is like the foundations! If it keeps up we'll be white again!
  22. Couldn't argee more, must be their worst nightmare as everyone complains when they get it wrong! Turning more and more to wet snow here, nothing laying yet...
  23. Rain to sleet to wet snow here, starting to get better but will need to come down a lot more to lay anywhere yet. Seen it happen many times after rain so we will see.
  24. I heard this mentioned before. Sounds like our thaw may take even longer! Nothing would suprise me this winter so i'll keep my fingers crossed. Thanks for the update. Meso
  25. Ten hours of heavy snizzle here has lead to another 5cm on top of what still hasn't gone. I am loving this winter!
