Have you not been in the model thread this morning? Good agreement between most that the cold period is coming to an end around Wednesday/Thursday next week.

Metcheck's is still based on GFS 06Z, and apparently GFS is terrible at predicting ppn several days out

I'm from Ilkeston, Tues was bad, but apart from that it's been ok! If you can't trust yourself to drive around with 1 inch on the fields next to the road, please warn us in this topic before you next take to the wheel! We should do reasonably well out of the weekend Probably about the same as earlier this week.

GFS 12Z summary: - Little/no snow until Friday evening - Chance of snow on the weekend, particularly on Sunday I was a bit confused that the GFS was saying the precip may not be snow for the east though? We're predicted a maxima of -2 for Saturday...
