  2. Hello folks, Hope all well and enjoying your weekend. Found this cracking winter pic today, Thought i would share it with you.
  3. Wow, What an old weather chart, This is an elite fax chart, Todays ones are just black and white, Must have taken ages to compose it. Sorry folks had to post it.
  4. I think he is referring to the jet being blocked, Strong Northern Blocking and the cold flushing through the UK.

  6. Hows you yam, No disrespect but to post comments like those,You really need to be a lot more specific,It was only 4 days ago the Express started the usual scare mongering. Yes I know there are some stating Winter of 1947 and i believe 1963 combined, But come on.Don't light the fuse and run mate.
  7. I will check and let you know asap MK. Anyone remember this ahhhhhh. http://www.itv.com/news/2013-01-18/severe-drifting-and-blizzards-expected-in-parts-of-wales-with-heavy-snow-across-much-of-the-uk/
  8. Evening all. Quite chilly tonight. Do you remember this http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/436170/Worst-winter-for-decades-Record-breaking-snow-predicted-for-November Meto have replied to it http://www.itv.com/news/granada/2013-10-13/the-met-office-responds-to-headlines-warning-of-worst-winter-in-decades/ I think really they are right, We cannot guarantee a true outcome to a lrf, As technology is not that advanced even this day and age. They are just Signals and Trends generated in output. Then again technology has come along way compared to 10 years ago so we can get better indications for forecasting more stable outcomes. The way the express have stated Winter this year is that most of us are going to not go anywhere, So we need to go and panic buy,Do xmas shopping next week, Buy a St Bernard with a keg round its neck, Rent a room to a paramedic because we wont get out the front door due to the 10ft wall of freezing snow..(Idiots).
  9. What a depressing day weather wise, Dark,Gloomy Chucking it down. These are the days you feel real fat content in a roastie dins.
  10. Is it me,or is the whole intense cold scenario all East side (North Pole Global Stats Current), Canada, Greenland etc (West Side) has nothing really. Apologises if i sound stupid,But i do not re-call seeing this output since i joined. If the Jet sinks further South, I'm guessing we could be looking at a real special Winter set up.
  11. Warm front...That's the new gem, It''s very much pointing and showing a cold front up North, All models are the same ,Tease to please, Show an offering and then YOU end up being an outlier. Anyway back to the current models.
