  8. Here we go..... .... Reading through the model thread, The breakdown starts next week, I guess its back to reality for August which probably means a complete washout and below average temps. I was hoping that this superb dry and hot theme would last a couple of more weeks, As per usual kids break up ,the weather goes down the pan. I have to hope and pray that August 3rd is a nice sunny day. Its my daughters 10th Birthday, My family have a tradition that every 10Th Birthday year is a big event, I just think its a big excuse for a massive P!SS UP. Not complaining as they are good but because My daughters birthday is at the beginning of August . I have had to arrange bouncy castle,Buy a fast set 12ft pool,Do up all the bloody garden and still going. Why do I feel mother nature will give me Churchill reversed victory sign. Please Lord cut me some slack.....
  9. I would love to BB, But heaviest work period and staff holidays means no time off for me. Praying the storms are night time ones...
  10. Or 5. I think July 2013 will be remembered as a complete wake up call to how the UK can really have a Summer. How many of us have actually thought "Hang on" we actually have a decent summers day outside, Compared to recent and past July periods and said Bugger to Output and Data. My point is July 2013 is the best Summer period since 2006. August 2013 could just go down the pan or Carry on this outstanding theme, either way Im loving it. Enjoy people, Model output will always be there,This hot Summer theme May (NOT)...Kids break up for half term soon...Always goes down the pan then.
  11. Evening hotties....... Well not been on for a while, Hope everyone enjoying the glorious weather and the (HEAT), No half measures in the UK all or nothing. Got to admit simnce 2007 i have envied many that escaped the dross to find the Sun and the warmth However 2 people have returned from there holidays at work wishing they had saved there money.,how long will it last who know's. I have heard rumours August possibly could be the same but we shall see,Not counting me chickens. Speaking of August (JP) Don't forget mate....The 3rd of August is an important date. Anyway take care all enjoy it whilst we have it.
  12. Morning Summer people,Well what an absolute cracking appearance summer made yesterday and the evening was lovely and warm as well, Everyone in the street has gone BBQ mad, Some neighbours I was talking to yesterday are even having another one today so if you can't beat em ,Join em. As for the weather today it will be even warmer. Its such a spirit lifter when the weather is like this,Emotionally and physically Those JD and cokes with lashings of ICE went down a fine treat. Enjoy your day folks and don't get burned. Haze 13°C Feels Like: 13° Wind Chill: 13° Ceiling: Unl Heat Index: 13° Visibility: 2.8mi Dew Point: 13° Wind: 2mph Humidity: 100% Direction: 290° (

  14. Outstanding really, We are now involved in a HP set up for the foreseeable relating to all output,There are bumps and grinds on the way showing phases,BUT,How many July's have been like this over the past (5 YEARS), We all hope for a major pattern change which is long over due to when Summers kicked of from May, June. Could we about to be on the cusp of a sign of the Mild 80'S AND 90'S ERA. Patterns will change, Not through our will "BUT" When planet earth and cycles are ready. However we could be set on a different pattern style when all seasons play ball, Winter has the Dickens scene, Snow,Frost and a chilly wind, Spring has the Mild and up and down temps with showers, Summer, Hits of with up and down temps (HP) SWAYING in and out from our shores,Until July arrives with 26-32c which portrays into August when a true British Summer fires up. Mods this is model related with emotions,We are all wanting that sign for a MAJOR pattern change, This current forecast aspect could be the key. As of now, Good weather is upon us...Long overdue...LETS ENJOY FOR GOD SAKE. Crazy thing is...How many are now are focusing on Winter 2013/2014.?
  15. Could not agree more BB, This pattern has been going on for years, I would say in jest that's what it feels like"BUT" Its true,It is really like banging your head against a brick wall,This pattern has just become ,Lame,Boring,Depressing and it needs to SOD off. I think everyone on here now has just had enough, We are just all praying for that change now and it can't come soon enough.Wonder if we can lasso the Jet Stream so when it buggers of South so do we.
  16. Its a really hard thing to do mate. Chin up,deep breath and remember it's Friday. Just think of that pint.
  17. You to JP, Keep the excellent updates following through.
  18. Hi, Sorry for delay. My belief is due to a planet cycle, A weather pattern cycle, I believe would only last 2 to 3 years, To us its a life time..As the Earth and its surrounding associates, The Sun and the Moon are in a low phase, It's this phase which generates abnormal Weather Patterns or Weather changing cycles. I'm no Genius,But since 2007 that dropped into a dramatic change of ,Wet.wet.wet.......Till present, There could well be a Dramatic change into (Olay Olayyyyyy, Olay Olay..Feeling (Hot Hot Hot). I am really a cold Weather ( Severe Winter ) person, But also i would love us to have a Scorchio, Summer. My main obs , Is that Jet Stream which is one of the Main Drivers for any climate, Is in limbo mode, Especially for the UK. However everything change's. As much as we are all Fed Up of this current pattern, I believe it will do a sudden (U) Turn, The change into which was Dramatic.. will be the Change out off.........
  19. About sums it all up (again and again and again) .Bloody Jet stream is still not high enough above the UK,To allow more favourable pattern (well overdue). That's why at present Europe are enjoying all our Summer favourites,Heat,Sun and lovely storms. Just follow the flow of the arrows,You could not make it up. Mother nature PLEEEEASE,Give us a break now otherwise the UK will just be a watercress sanctuary. http://blogs.spectator.co.uk/rod-liddle/2013/06/met-office-in-crisis-meeting-as-sun-comes-out/
  20. Evening all, Wow its very muggy. . .. No storms yet though. http://www.richdavies.com/uk-lightning-map.htm 20°C Feels Like: 20° Wind Chill: 20° Ceiling: Unl Heat Index: 20° Visibility: 6mi Dew Point: 15° Wind: 9mph Humidity: 73% Direction: 30° (NNE) Pressure: 29.97" Gusts: NA

  22. Good Morning all, Absolute cracker of a sunny morning not to chilly either. The whole day is looking good weather wise,Hope yours is too, I can smell the BBQ already. Clear 8°C Feels Like: 7° Wind Chill: 7° Ceiling: Unl Heat Index: 8° Visibility: 6mi Dew Point: 7° Wind: 8mph Humidity: 87% Direction: 310° (NW) Pressure: 30.36"
  23. That's why though VM. We have had the coldest May in 51 yrs and the last 7 summers have been (Pants), There is a glimmer of hope for this one as its starting of on the right foot at the( moment ), The next 10 days are not looking to bad at all, Generally we all love the Summer as it lifts spirits and puts smiles on many faces,I agree though it will bring out the odd (angel delight) but they to are on a high because the Sun is out and its warmer. As for bad radio stations variety is the spice of life,It would be pretty boring like the wet cold and windy weather if we all liked the same. Enjoy the up and coming Summer spell my friend, I say spell as no one know one know's how long it will last,All i can say is that we in the British Isle's are long over due a decent (Hot Long Summer). Have a nice weekend.
