Hey seasiders. My mum and dad live just above the cafe's in westcliff. she said its amazing watching it coming accross the sea. wish i was there....We have had storms most of the mid day, but not many visible flashes, lotsa thunder tho....

ok guys and girls now im confused. Some of you are going nuts saying its kicking off in france and others of you are saying its all gone wrong. Which is it?? It is going to happen? Its not going to happen?

NO Snow here today booooo....heavy rain...shame if this was Snow it would be thick as ya like,,,,bummer...oh well there is still the rest of winter to go. I think we were all spoilt in the last weeks with the snow....remember, we dont usually get such low temps and snow pre xmas...still lots to look forward to im sure.

Morning all Heart radio was going on about a band of heavy snow crossing the region from midnight thursday and into Friday....so do we think this is going to be a non event then?

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!! Very quiet in here. BBC is showing chance of snow for me on Tuesday but i highly doubt it. Do we think the cold will make a return anytime soon????

Hi, I have also had this horrid condition. Well It is either cluster headache as one doc told me or Trigeminal neuralgia as another has said. I get random attacks and no one that hasnt had it could possibly appreciate the pain. Its just awful. I ususaly get put onto a 50MG dose of Tramadol which knocks me for 6 and means i cant function although it does take the edge off the pain. If it gets really awful then i tend to go to A+E and wait for around 5 hours to be seen. they then stab me with a needle filled with steroids and the pain begins to subside. I dont have private health so im at the mersey of the NHS (No hospital spaces) lol. I have had 5 or so attacks this year but none for over 3 months now. Work doesnt understand, my wife doesnt get it and its just the worst pain in the world. good luck to anyone else who suffers...

hello everyone..... I have been reading about La Nina and getting very conflicting reports of this event. Some are saying this will cause a harsh freezing winter with lots of snow (yay) and others that it will be mild and wet....can someone pls tell me which is correct. NB I am a total novice but willing to learn
