  1. Thanks buddy. ....all of the bitc*ing going on in the snow thread is doing my heed in lol
  2. It doesnt look like my neck of the woods is going to get much snow, mostly rain? Is that right??
  3. Guys, im here to find out whats happening today/tonight. Not to watch you all Bit*h fight. It seems like its all shifted again (havent been on since yesterday afternoon). So the SE now looks like a little snow and mainly rain. Is this correct???? Please help to answer guys and stop the fighting....
  4. Where does that leave little old Hertfordshire? As you can tell my geography isnt great...i think we are slightly NW of london
  5. All good my friend. Good to see you, so to speak. Chances looking V good. About blooming time IMO. Models look like they have shifted slightly west which is good for people in the W of the country, but it also slows the front which may mean it will be snowy for longer in our neck of the woods.
  6. So does that make any difference as to the SE getting pasted or does it just mean its going to be slower moving through the region?
  7. So the slower movement?? does that make any difference to us in the SE, or are we still set to get it, just later on in the night?
  8. Probably better to ask in the regional threads, but the 5 day forecast is just a computer generated forecast....watch the warnings, they have the human input....
  9. Is that for my post or WTS or both lol. Meto 5 day forecast also shows LIGHT snow, right next to the amber warning...grrr is that the same situation?
  10. Netweather forecast is showing SLEET for my area??"!? all other websites including the BBC are showing snow. NOT sleet. why is it, we have some amazing people on this site, and NW are the only ones showing sleet for tomorrow night?
  11. I would say yes. Judging by the surface temps and the amount possible it could settle, but being london, Im not sure it will last too long. The centre of town generally gets a few degrees warmer than the outer subs.....
  12. Oh no snow in March. Im going to Centre Parcs.....need sun and warmth like last year....
  13. Amber alert. Yeah baby yea....bring on the snow. Bloody tesco have put the price of thier snow shovel up from £3 earlier in the week to £6.70. I thought every little was meant to help, I didnt realise it meant to help them!
  14. Fairy nuff mate. Lets hope we all get a good pasting this weekend. Weve all been so patient this "winter". We deserve it
  15. What time do the Meto generally update the warnings? Is there a set time each day?
  16. Coast, Im trying to understand why your going for Snow only so far south. It seems there is a lot of IMBY going on in here today, others including the Met yellow warning have snow for the region (SE and 3C), do you think your chart is pretty acurate as things stand? I know they are likely to change a little with the 12Z but just curious.....
  17. Ok so its eyes down for the 12 then....Lets hope for a very slight west adjustment so the whole region gets some.
  18. So folks, Rain, Sleet, or Snow....??!! so many different possible outcomes, it still really seems to be knife edge stuff. Even if it does come as Snow, is it going to be a short lived event or are we looking at something that will stay on the ground for a while? Some are saying its snow then rain, and others going for snow all the way? Anyone got any comments?
  19. Hi my lovely EA and 3C people.... well the weekend is shaping up to be interesting. I hope things go well in that respect and we can all enjoy some lenthy spells of snow. As for the rest of this week, not much currently showing, but thats the thing with snow. A little push here and a nudge there and we have snow showers that no one expected or predicted. Even if they are the tiny little scraps. Sit, wait and watch. Im hoping for something decent this week/end and who knows afer that...a mild blip, with a return to colddddddd (I hope)
  20. Just had hail, then sleet, then rain, now sun!!....(In Borehamwood, not London)....
  21. great charts on the model thread. Looks like the waiting might be over. Still lots could change but the next 36/48 hours should cement the general, but details could still change. Next Thursday seems like the day it might all begin (for some).....Time, as usual, will tell. All eyes down for the next runs....
  22. Toally agree with this. It could be a good indicator to change being afoot (a Foot of snow lets hope :-)
