  1. http://yfrog.com/mmpwebij Debris from Henryville found 188miles away in Cincinatti.
  2. Nashville rooftop cam http://www.newschann...-video-from-cbs . The rain might of just taken that out though. McReavy in position to intercept on tornadovideos.net. Henrysville looking in a very bad way on the news footage.
  3. Brett Adair just got caught out by a tornado, just clipped him by looks of things on his cam.
  4. Good news channel to follow it all on here based in Louisville, KN. http://www.wave3.com/ Significant damage reported in Henryville they say, picture of it looked like a large wedge.
  5. Yeah, im not sure whether the local reservoirs around me have been backed up to conserve water but they were very full the other day when I saw them. Certainly a long way from a drought around here. Shame the regionals will merge, although it'll soon be time again the way the years seem to fly by thesedays. I'll still be around through the summer for the storms and the USA storm chases. How I wish I had the money to go out there for them...
  6. Could try ebay, always have old things going on there. http://www.ebay.co.u...id=317667177165
  7. Was dry here until around 3. Then its been wet since. Went for a run at 5 but it felt colder than it did the other day, though being soaked by the end didn't help I guess...
  8. Had a heavy hail/snow shower about an hour ago whilst I was in the pub, but other than that nothing since around 5pm this evening. Looks like I'm too far east for any shower activity but for those in it, enjoy it. Brilliant clear sky though out there, clearest I've seen in a while. But from that, all puddles have frozen over already and the footpaths were actually pretty icy.
  9. As quickly as it started were now back with clear skies. I think the Irish Sea is still getting going tbh.
  10. Wowzers, don't see hail like this very often, pitch black everywhere now and roads now white over in a matter of seconds. More like a summer storm how it blew in all of a sudden. Very windy too. And now a rumble of thunder. Now turned to snow.
  11. Actually, that was the first part just, the main batch is arriving now, sky pitch black to my north and north west with a visible hail shaft moving west at some rate.
  12. Hail starting Quite large too, but seems to be going around me to my north and south. North Macclesfield will be getting loads as I can see the hail shaft.
  13. Looked out 5 min ago and it was clear skies with a few clouds around. Now its clouding over with a wall of black cloud bearing down on us from the north west.
  14. It only just clipped here I think, certainly didn't last that long nor get as heavy as I thought it might get when I drove home seeing it come over. Seemed to be darkest to the south of me and Im in the south west of Macc. Got pretty dark mind you that I needed to put lights on in the kitchen.
  15. Just had a heavy wintry mix accompanied with strong gusts. Certainly chillier out there than it was this morning. Had torrential rain around 11am, nearly flooded my works carpark.
  16. I'll just tell it to veer south as it passes over me then 5cm never looks any different to 1 foot though to me. Of course the effects to traffic are different.
  17. Had to laugh myself at that. Did you notice the temp drop by 9c in 2 hours tomorrow night, 17.00 - 8c then -1c at 19.00. Was that just a switch from max temps to min temps or is she really that bad? Or was I seeing things lol
  18. Trust me it aint what it's cracked up to be. Insurance prices and fuel prices take the fun away very quickly, that and all the nutters you have to share the roads with lol. Been quite busy this week, so not had chance to come on here much. From what I gather, snow chances are from tomorrow night onwards?
  19. Yeah May and June 09 were really good I thought. At least it felt hot when doing my D of E expedition in the heat at the end of May. One of the rare occasions I've just wanted a walk to end. Although the pub at the end of it felt good . April last year was nice too, I was in Scotland for a week then but expected it to be chilly so didn't pack any shorts Then the week after the place I stayed at, had to be evacuated due to a wild fire a mile down the glen
  20. Yeah it most likely won't. Personally I think we will have another early 'summer' like the past 2-3 years with a dry ish May to June then going down the gutter again.
  21. Hmmm not good if that happens, I know some areas need rain but not that much lol. Could say were due a major flooding event, not had one for a couple of years. Was it 07 with Sheffield and many other areas badly hit? Still a long way off though.
  22. I'll be amazed if that doesn't have a fatality, I know the fire brigade will probably of cut some of them cars apart to free trapped passengers but how someone can get out of that right hand car alive is a miracle. Sadly it looks like the fog last night did claim one life in Cumbria... http://www.bbc.co.uk...umbria-17009236 I know when driving home last night the fog was limiting visibility down to about 25m in places and most were driving around 30mph, yet a couple of cars were still using the outside lane of the dual carrageway through Macclesfield and were driving like it was a clear sunny day. Annoyingly some people just don't think these days when driving. Edit - Given the recent high profile of pile ups on motorways, especially from fog, I'm amazed how there isn't a story about this on the BBC.
  23. But who's to say it won't change back to a more favourable picture again? I wouldn't loose faith just yet, the models this winter have been really poor most of the time beyond t+76 I think. And even this past 2 weeks they've struggled within that time frame. I know most of the region has not had much, if anything all winter, but for me until 3 years ago I hadn't seen snow cover last more than 3 days at most without fully melting. Now 3 years running including this winter, it's happened twice or more each year. Certainly not a poor winter in my book here even if it has nothing in terms of sheer snowfall and cold to the last 2 years. Suppose that's me comparing it to what I've grown up with in the 90s and most of the 00s
  24. Yeah that heavy rain, was it Monday or Sunday night? seemed to do abit of damage, but not as much as I thought it would. For some reason its not got quite as cold here as other places even though we have to snow. Unless that weather station at All Hallows is abit dodgy (have to admit that has seemed a little high this past couple of days). Like I've said before, its like travelling to a different town at times, in the center, not much evidence of snow, then as I get closer to home and it comes back again.
  25. Light snow flurry here around 4pm, pretty chilly. Considering all we got on Thursday was freezing rain and sleet, last weekends snow is still around with lawns still covered ect. Although lower lying areas of town seem to of lost it.
