I don't think so because the tabloids keep going back to these people. Just look at Corbyn.
They sure will - it sells newspapers whether they are right or wrong

You do really woffle sometimes TWS. Snow is a pain in the rectum for many reasons and what exactly are the benefits?
I get SAD every year from around September and I can tell you now that snow cover cheers me up no end - no doubt the reflected ultra violet and general brightness given by the snow has some effect. it also provides a wonderful winter playground for adults and children alike :-)

They may well be under the impression its spring again and have started making little squirrels!

I put a call out in the seasonal winter threads which seemed to attract people.
We had 32 people viewing the thread earlier, plus regular posts attract people to read.
I just love snow - and am loving this thread even though I'm no where near you LOL. Can anyone remember if you had a similar event in 1990-91?

A friend in the Lake District just said they're experiencing power cuts because of this weather?!

LOL Fred the weather man was funny - upping the 'Mild' temps, and in his most gently voice saying it would be gusty ............ I swear he wanted to say ' calm down dear '

The 12z runs predict she should be around 965-970mb at present, a large difference to the actual central pressure recorded.
One would expect an upgrade on the 18Z runs?
Do you know what time will the18Z come through?

I dont think I've ever been afraid of storms/thunder/lightening etc., and have always found them very exciting. I'm now a mum to a nearly 3 year old who goes to nursery and sadly so many of his little friends are afraid of them.
I told my son that it was clouds bumping into each other making electicity which creates noise and lightening. We had a really great evening recently where thunder and lightening lasted for a good couple of hours and we both sat and enjoyed the view from the window.
Its great that we can both delight in the British weather together from such a young age :-)
