It was also dark really early. Have a good trip to Southern Ireland for calm dry weather!! I'm off to cannes on Friday, should be a tad warmer there, although there is rain on the cards for end of week, aaaarghh!! I must admit I've left the heating on past few hours, as feels quite draftie now.- 533 replies

You are a better man than me if you can understand or pronounce that !! haa!! England have beaten the All Blacks and won the World Cup, so I am incredibly honoured that my team beat them on Sat. What a day/evening ! Dont think my feet touched the ground from 5pm!! The sky has taken on a sort of green tinge here in the city of London.... Looks dark to my west and light towards the east/C Wharf...- 846 replies

It's the wind I can't get over, incredibly gusty. The trees making that whooshing sound. Lost a fair few branches today and part of our fruit tree. Not that it bore much fruit, thanks to squirrel friends.

I've just filled our feeders here and scattered some seed down for the ones that don't go to feeders. Just saw a flock, if they are called that, of around 6 or so long tail tits. One spent most of this morn knocking the window, seeing his own reflection and thinking it a mate!!- 807 replies

Hi all from west London. Dank grey day, not mild, but not cold either. Yet ! Daffodils have sprung up in the field here almost overnight. Also noticed alot more small birds around today scouting on ground for food, they weren't around last weekend. Long tail tits, robins and a dunnock. Maybe they know something about the upcoming weather.- 807 replies
