  1. It does seem to be congealing up there, a couple of wall clouds looked fantastic on some of the streams for a while, but look down at Adrian, TX and Hereford, TX storms now.
  2. Cheers found it, couldn't get the icons to show!
  3. I got this, there was a new version came out a couple of weeks ago. If you search for GRLevelX forum, sign up there is a free update for GRLevel 3
  4. Yes, Amarillo about to take a battering. GR Level 3 is showing 0.75 to 1.5inch hail near Amarillo, but the Borger cell has 2.25inch at the mo! Nice shape on radar too!
  5. Gary Schmitt stream is showing a lowering.
  6. PDS TOR! Wowza. Could be a big show today!
  7. Good luck out there today guys, stay safe! I saw the picture of yesterday's lightning encounter!
  8. Yes please if its still valid. £98 at the moment!
  9. Larger hail here now, upto half centimetre, making an amazing amount of noise for something so small!
  10. Another cracking thunderstorm here in Macclesfield. Some very intense bright white C-C and C-G bolts between Macclesfield and Knutsford, even bright in a sunny sky looking towards the dark mass of storm, one I don't have to leave the office for either. Really deep booming thunder too. Rain started now! Wasn't expecting this up here today.
  11. Did get out for a chase, albeit 30 minutes of driving. Left Macclesfield for the hills and got caught in a heavy shower up on the Cat and Fiddle, then drove South East towards Leek and got caught in the most torrential rain I think I have ever driven with. It made traffic crawl and gutters became 6 foot wide. Seen about 5 or 6 pink bolts of lightning, one of which was a C-G and blew the electrics in Macclesfield (traffic lights and house alarms all popped off for a minute or so). Really good, more please!
  12. Looking at finishing work early and getting out in Macclesfield. Looks to be 2-ish hours away from here.
  13. Netweather radar showing precip rates of near 100mm/hr on that cell. Must be heavy! Maybe hail?
  14. Feels very ready to go bang here in Macclesfield. Warm sunshine through a milky sky, and a South West-ish breeze. In fact you would be forgiven for thinking its the start of a day of severe storms in America. Time will tell later, will share if anything happens aroundh
  15. Is that map showing 5000 CAPE and a Lifted Index of -12 in Southern Texas?
  16. I never read stuff properly lol. Always ends well! Trying to buy a new lens for this year, a manual focus Nikon zoom lens, and product descriptions send me to sleep!
  17. Lol, so you did. Another Northern trait, don't read stuff properly lol!
  18. Nah, gave that up years ago. Back on topic, I bring two pairs of shoes, inevitably there will be muddy bits, so keep a pair clean for if there is a down day. Also, I tend to bring a laptop to back up photos off the camera, for back up purposes. Less to lose if the worst should happen with your camera.
  19. Brandon Copic on LiveStormChasing watching it role straight in toward him, C-G's on the stream.
