  1. The retrogression we're after is nw,oh well. Usual suspects, northern Scotland and windward coasts. Should be decent frosts.
  2. GFS still looks good at day 10 but alot of water under the bridge. Let's see if the trend of heights not digging in Greenland continues and hope it doesn't lessen even more. If I can't have snow, dry with some frosts will do me.
  3. I think we'd settle for that. As long as that can count down from day 10. Good thing there also is the majority of the PV is over the eastern half of the hemisphere. But like the GFS,they all struggle with Greeny blocking.
  4. Although, the signal for a decent Greeny block has weakened, the UKMO and ECM still look good, obviously poor from GFS. The guy from meto who said be wary of Greenland high modeling could be right. Anyway, there's always wobbles and it's drying out and becoming colder. Alot can happen, for better or worse.
  5. Hope you're right. It's a long way out to be that sure.
  6. I'm sort of with you. Great 10 day charts to look at but a lot more likely than not, something will crop up. I'm just glad it's turning dry from monday and colder with some frost if we do get that push from the ne,and yes, some snow if we can(doubtful ATM imo) get cold uppers and stronger winds to push showers in. Might be some slight frosts before. I'll sit up when the super charts make it to 48 hrs or so. Don't get me wrong,it's great viewing.
  7. Can we get another push of heights to keep the pattern going in this run?.
  8. It is on this run. We are allowed to comment on the run. If you think it's not going wrong on this run, tell us why?.
  9. I'd still feel easier if the low was more neg tilted and closer to Iberia on future runs.
  10. Not necessarily a bad thing. It would tighten the isobars and bring in more convection I'd have thought.
  11. Really picky I know, but would love the low to the SW more elongated to Iberia. We'll,if we're gonna treat ourselves..........
  12. The chance of an undercut increases with less energy. So I'm sorry, your statement is wrong.
  13. If you saying anything against the regulars,it's frowned on. Very clicky in there. I'm expecting my response to be barred and a pm. Don't know if the regular will......
  14. I was replying to someone about the Iberian heights and I believe that climate change is the cause. It WAS on this thread. Also you replied in this thread.
  15. Don't worry, the usual lot on the mod thread will carry on blowing the cold , background trumpet(even when it fly's in their face). I've had a reply off one of them tonight and I was only replying to someone else....
  16. Sorry Fred. You always come across as a matter of fact. How many times have you been wrong on here....... It was a reply on THIS thread about Iberian heights.
  17. A warming climate in my opinion. Azores/Iberian high is nigh in impossible to shift. I feel background divers will become even more over ridden in the future. It seems to be the way it's going. Should be good for bills in the future when Putin decides to fart
  18. Ridge is flattened because of the PV over Greenland. Happens nearly all the time.
