    With some holidays to use and in a rare moment of genius I’ve booked today off from work. When I went to sleep last night we had nothing and nothing on the radar. This morning it’s a beautiful wintry scene after a couple of cm’s of lovely fresh snow. Made for a fantastic walk with the dog and a lovely boost to my mental health after a month of gloom.

    My met office radar has gone from heavy snow on several hours to light all evening. Gaps on the radar for my location whilst north and south get hit. Scotland has a polar low

    The radar is looking livelier today.

    The met office app has me down for two hours of heavy snow at 80% for tomorrow evening.

    Even though we have nothing here I’m pleased for the west of the region. You guys do worse than the snow starved south. Enjoy

    It happened more than once in the 90’s, hailstone for a good couple of hours sticking followed by heavy snow.

    I’m tired from moaning about it, the ignore feature is a wonderful tool. After reading it for over thirteen years I’ve finally accepted it for what it is

    The mod thread is fixated on a snow event for the South and ignoring the fact that the models are showing snow in all different locations over the next week. Also to add, the models will be chopping and changing where gets precipitation for days yet.
