    There seems to be 2 streams setting up, one running south east from the coast of Cumbria and the other South east through Blackpool and Southport etc.

    There is a meaty looking shower heading down through Fleetwood now in this direction.

    Showers definitely more westerly now, would not take much movement to be right in the firing line rather than catching the edges.

    On rain today they seem to be squeezing through from N Ireland,W Scotland in the nw direction.

    Looks to be pepping up from a more northerly track.

    Rain Today showing beefy showers moving into the North west heading towards East Lancashire and West Yorkshire, my money with the cold creeping south and nightfall temp drops is on Snow.
