    06z more progressive, but if you listen to Mr Murr its not worth looking at!! Unless its good! lol With the cold air in place maybe, just maybe it will stall much futher west like last weekend. The front last weekend was so so slow to move east, and this time the cold is much stronger so we will see!

    Yeah, did say due to the wind. But was expecting to the temp to drop a little more. Will wait and see tonight. Current -0.8 And what is just getting started? Now I give up, LOL. Just seen the local forecast for saturday and its snow. Eh?

    Well hardly a frost last night! No frost on the car when I left work at midnight, min temp last night -1.1. When is the cold supposed to arrive? Sorry but this cold snap is turning into a non event for me. Still havent seen the grass white with frost yet (prob due to a bit of wind). Looks like a quick breakdown with a little rain sat into sun then mild zonal all the way. Yes Im depressed, what a crap cold SNAP!!!

    You need to get out more. To be honest the model output thread is a joke, they have suddenly forgot it is COLD NOW and the weekend could see lots of snow for some. Why look into FI chasing and chasing and chasing something so far out.

    BBC forecast only out to thursday online. Nothing said about the weekend....dont think they can make their minds up!!!!

    Said it a few times here recently, that I hate Atlantic breakdowns, snow to rain theres nothing worse. I am hoping that the block holds firm and pushes a little further west so we keep it as a snow event throughout.

    -2.2 last night in the back garden. Expecting it colder tonight. Interesting for us the weekend??? Maybe just maybe the block will hold against the Atlantic and gives us some real snow!!

    The ground is wet, the temperature is above freezing so I cant see anything sticking today. Maybe the end of the week if the cold uppers can hold on throughout. Whats the temperature on the coast?

    Yes, weston got a streamer straight across from Wales all day. 2/3 miles either side of weston there was hardly anything! Weston was bang in the firing line that day.

    The one thing that makes me so depressed is a cold snap then frontal snow from the Atlantic then rain! Im just hoping that one day the cold is strong enough to stay in place and all we get is snow snow snow with temps just below freezing.....let me dream. I HATE ATLANTIC BREAKDOWNS!!!!!

    Radar gone green now, except around the coasts, especially weston (sorry snowmadchrisuk !!!! couldnt help it!)

    Light rain. 3.9 That -5 upper cannot be as west as first thought. Oh well, the temp will drop tonight, more ppn on the way and heavier hopefully so we will see. AND an interesting week to look forward too.

    Ha ha most welcome! Last winter I drove from Nailsea after work it was -6 at midnight, got to weston, it was +1! Weston is the warmest place in winter!!! lol
