  1. 'Snow apocalypse': VIDEOS show Moscow blanketed by flurries, with collapsed roofs & sliding trucks in record-breaking snowfall WWW.RT.COM Moscow has been hit with the worst snowfall in decades, with freak weather disrupting air travel and bringing traffic to a halt. Several people have been...
  2. Got a bit more snow last night then the sound of graupel and freezing rain 5C currently This was a shower to the south west on Wednesday
  3. Has been snowing heavily here giving a covering to the bits that had melted and temperature has dropped from the high of 0.1C to -2C
  4. Will you be getting on the Dial a Bus -0.2C / -6.2 C DP currently with lows -1.4C / -7.0 C DP don’t think I’ve seen the dewpoint get as low here too many times, could be some freezing rain around making things even more dangerous
  5. Overnight low temperatures -3.6C / DP -4.4 C GFS good and both the ECM and new ECM p heading the right way this winter certainly has been and remains very interesting
  6. Minimum overnight temperatures for me were -5.8C / -7.2C DP I’ve said before but it usually takes an effort to get frosts here and been at this house since 2014 only the 2018 beast and possibly one or two other nights have got down to that temperature. Think the line of showers could reach eastern Fife.
  7. What is the lowest uk dewpoint record , done a quick search but can’t find anything for dewpoint records
  8. That was likely the last meaningful shower here it has been fantastic in here for the last few days and for @Hawesy snow prediction not much change overnight, hoped for 10cm end result of 12cm I'm very pleased with both 2010 and BFTE 2018 version ha I got a foot of snow but its about where the slow moving bands set up like Dundee this time, trying to remember 2009/10 but I think this goes in my top 3 snowfalls. Bit of a shame nobody appears to have got thundersnow maybe the CAPE levels weren't quite high enough. Could be a line of showers coming toward the east coast tomorrow probably light and not sure how far inland they will move, further ahead I haven't had a long look at the charts but breakdowns of cold are nearly always shown to happen too fast, possibly a setup bit like the 2018 beast where ridging goes up through UK and North / North East (Scandi) then the cold tries to come back in. @Blitzen hoping the arm isn't too badly hurt
  9. Just been out measuring tried few spots it's around 4cm currently
  10. I love sea effect snow Brilliant u are getting it too @Hawesy ?️?️?️
