  1. If there’s anything worth a f**k me!! It’s those charts p20 also Now to try be like Homer after seeing those
  2. PLEASE TRY NOT TO GET EXCITED (YET) PLENTY MORE RUNS NEEDED I just wanted to post this before the next set of ensembles come out and those charts are lost, no 2 patterns will be exactly the same but there does look to be groups of ensembles really similar to the way the beast played out and this one was the closest match I have seen to date would have been easier to show if the meteociel archive charts could be done as a gif but I’ll have to post them individually. BFTE ensemble member from the 0z GEFS (others are also trying a similar route) Also noted that the GFS P 0z buried us with snow
  3. Off and running WWW.WCTV.TV WCTV | Livestream | Tallahasee, FL
  4. Was planning to do this thread once the spring tornado risks were happening but after the Fultondale EF3 maybe best to create it now ?
  5. There will be two fronts but I’m thinking sleet / freezing rain for most of us and a bit of snow for the high ground and mountains as the 528 dam is barely even in the NE when the first front is going through dewpoints around 0 for some at that time especially further north and west with 850 temps around -2 to -4 so a bit too messy for me, after the second front moves through the flow goes east then north east getting the colder air back in which is likely to be on Friday. me when I looked through the ensembles, full of many cold options some with split tropospheric PV, I’ll still say it’s not a forecast plenty more runs of the same kind before I call it but with favourable MJO and the recent / ongoing strat warming events it’s reasonable to see why these charts are coming out this was my favourite
  6. Always incredible how powerful Tornadoes are and sadly often the destruction they cause /pb/resources/images/fallback-promo-image.png Watch Live Newscasts WWW.WBRC.COM
  7. Even if I was getting a fiver for each time @Big Innes Madori and @Blitzen got snow whilst I got hee haw I would be really quite rich bit of a look through the ensembles and a few trying toward the kind of patterns I was expecting to see mean from the GEFS and there’s the pacific ridging linking up over Greenland
  8. Given the + hours it's never going to be exactly like that but assuming it was look at the lobe of PV in the Arctic, with the Pacific and Atlantic heights trying to link over Greenland there's only one direction that PV lobe would head and that's SW towards us I mentioned in my last post in the mod thread I expected to see nice cold charts coming out tying in with the MJO going toward phase 7 in particular, here's hoping.
  9. Will they put out a yellow warning in time for tonight it’s that front moving further east again for tomorrow I am not overly confident here looks basically the same as the last frontal event could be on the boundary here but hopefully others see some more snaw, and the rough idea of snowfall from both those areas of precip
  10. Video captures sound of 'thundersnow' bang in Hampshire | Daily Echo WWW.DAILYECHO.CO.UK RESIDENTS across Hampshire were woken up in the night by a large bang that had people fearing ther ehad been an explosion.
  11. All the 3s were the overnight lows here -3 C / -3.3C DP bit of a top up for the highlands with that front associated with a small developing low, the front will then hang around the west coast extending a bit inland giving a mix of sleet and snow for those areas as seen on the forecast snow for the next 36 hrs (as always don’t take these as exact but gives a guide for that front)
  12. Overnight lows here were -2.4C / DP -3.4C sitting exactly at 0 C currently think there are enough troughs? Looks like more snow showers in the highlands maybe across to @Ravelin or even @Mair Snaw and a few more around the west coast. Looking at the temp forecasts could be more ice days over the next few days and some places getting near minus double digits at night.
  13. Amazing pics, same for everyone else’s too also the green area aka my hoose
  14. That has caught my eye for later tomorrow not sure if it is a trough or a front but either way both of the wrf nmm show an increase in snow showers coming in to the west and south west of Scotland then possibly moving into other areas it’s something that will probably change positions til we get to then but will keep watching it
