agreed, cant help thinking the same. radar is no help at the mo, meteo seems to be just making it up as it goes along for my area, according to it i should have some snow already lol yr.no tells no snow for central until the early hours, so ill choose to believe thats more likely. charts seem to mean little at the mo also (again for my area), pretty much been consistantly wrong all week. dissapointing for sure, but thats the weather for ya! lol

Yeah im a few miles north east of Glasgow and so far no joy. Seen many charts like this over the last week, so im not hopeful. Be great if it comes off, but .....nah not expecting anythin

really crossing everythin that cumbernauld and central see something. been infuriating to see the snow miss us at just about every turn. bbc tells us we will have light snow tomorrow, but as i was watching raintoday radar and meteoradar yesterday, both were conflicting at times - and neither were correct at all! so im kind of thinking its all going to fizzle out, so much potential but just not materialising

ok ive got to ask - just how accurate are the radar feeds on the like of meteoradar? two nights in a row now they tell me i should have snow - and 2 nights in a row....nothing but clear skies. theres a conspiracy lol im in cumbernauld, not so far from central glasgow - and according to the radar i should be bathed in white - but alas no. defo seems that glasgow area are missing things completley. theres promise of it on monday, but as someone above mentioned - thats been the case for a while and no joy. think im resigned to having none for the mo lol

Nothin in Cumbernauld yet....radar suggests it should be....

a downgrade on bbc weather now for cumbernauld for monday, down to light snow now. can anyone tell me if this is based on anything or just their usual guesses? cheers! :-)

so is central looking a bit more likely for some snow later tonight? bbc finally has honoured us with heavy snow on monday. Got a little bit last night and overnight, but all but gone from mid morning with the odd flurry here and there

indeed, seems to be a lot more movement over central that i expected. a few gaps, but not too bad a start considering i was expecting nothing until monday!

hahaha and just as i say theres no snow, look out the window and....snow!! not the heaviest of showers but it sure is lying quick! wooho!

got to be the most bizarre band theres ever been, im about 3 miles away from you and....not a thing - not even cloud cover lol

had a quick check of the met office radar - compared to the meteoradar its quite different - for my area anyways. from what ive heard from people around the area meteo is pretty much right, met office - even for whats happening now....is way off that is of course if the radar is accurate, there seems to be a few blips here and there -cloud cover doing sudden right angles etc lol

despite some areas of cumbernauld getting a few flakes, it seems to be pretty much cutting a channel right over main cumbernauld - damn it lol

id say dunblane should see some soon, meteoradar puts it just south of u 10 mins ago...

some reported snow from friends in some areas of cumbernauld, but.....no sign of it and im only a couple of miles away, sky doesnt look like its holding on to any either. siiiiigh!

i reckon goin by the radar even central glasgow will see some within the next half an hour or so, woohoo!

sky still surprisingly clear for it being so close.....hmmmmm

yeah an utter left trouser leg take for central, couldnt be more dissapointed. i really wouldnt have any hopes until at least monday, and if it follows how things have worked out for us so far even then im kinda meh about the chances

-1 this morning in cumbernauld, but no ice on the car - so i think its a recent drop. bitter cold wind and sky has went from clear and bright to very overcast. nothing on the charts for us though
