  4. The delay before a transfer of data begins following an instruction for its transfer. Thats the best I can do via Google I wouldn't call it a theory though..
  5. There wasn't, It was a sting jet that created the hurricane force winds which back then we're impossible to forecast. Even now it's very difficult. Anyway on with Model Discussion or should I say currently Model flip/flop discussion

  7. I can agree with that from my location with hills towering round me the snow lines are very visible. Can only describe them as white curtains..

  9. Absolutely Rob, Even the professionals are having a tough time, With much uncertainty the form horse atm.
  10. Ive been watching on the sidelines.. Expect more twists and turns over the next few days, But as Phil says above it really is down to the wire atm. Very interesting watching the models unfold to say the least!

  12. As a few have already touched on, Sundays Low will give disruption (Especially ferry crossings) to the N/W Highlands with Gale Force winds for a time.
  13. Sleet currently here, With a strong wind and feeling raw as winds turn Northerly.
  14. Stopped snowing here and skys clearing slowly, temps dropping like a stone currently -3 expecting -5/6 tonight.
  15. Still snowing moderately, oil range on it's going to be cold night.. Temp currently -1c
  16. Back home now after walking the dogs a few miles over the snowfields, very cold here with temp currently -1c and still snowing moderately with some heavy burst's.
