I couldn't help but notice the extent of High Pressure over the Arctic into the later frames of the GFS.

Yes it's been a good summer for farmers round here, Including myself as I've a bit of a small holding here now and all my work is outside and always had been.. But I have always said to myself 'you can always warm up, But not cool down' when working outside.

GFS showing the Atlantic knocking on our doors by the end of next week, With Low Pressure systems firing across from the West on a strong Jetstream.

Lovely day just got back from a 15mile walk, clear sky's here with temp currently 26c and a nice breeze to take the edge of things.

Yes clearing here to, Lovely start to the day up on the High Peak Trail.

Thick fog here this morning.

I've no fancy thermostated central heating here, just a big old 1960s oil range Arga which heats the radiators its either on ticking over or off. The problem is it's not worth firing up on cold mornings or evenings as it uses more oil to get the thing hot than it would for it ticking over for 24hr. So I use an electric heater when needed in the living room and good old hot water bottles until its actual cool enough to fire the Arga up and leave on for the winter. It's actually fantastic, the heat it pumps out is something else and I can cook of it and also does all hot water for probably 10 baths a day.. If I turned it up fully it would heat a Castle but I dread to think of the running costs!

Yep wonderful here sat out in the garden watching the birds on the feeders.. A little haze but bluebird sky's in general and temp currently 21c and a soft breeze.

Glorious early Autumn day here with clear blue skys and a nice breeze. Temp currently 19c

Temps touching 30c in some parts next Tuesday, As Mushy says it will more than likely be a cloudy humid affair though.
