    Moderate rain this evening turning heavy now with plenty moving South very very slowly over me, Been so dry here of late especially after the 1st cuts of hay so should green the fields up..

    Absolutely Arnie, When a good display is on show they are better than the Northern lights in my opinion to the naked eye and lense As you say should not be taken for granted, it's just a shame many are not in touch with it! (Or be up to see it)

    The best ones I saw were in 2007/8 I didn't even know what they were at time.. the first morning I saw them around 4am.. I just stood there thinking what am I looking at, They filled the sky. And the next few following mornings were the same. I will never forget it. Great shot sorry Rob even from 2015

    Absolutely clear here atm, I'm pretty much drained..after being out working in the sun all day (as yesterday) missed last nights show as was in bed just after midnight. Tea is cooking and that's me and the dogs..won't be much later tonight. I'll try my best to stop up. Make hay while the sun shines they say. literally.. even with the tractor doors/windows open while tedding isn't pleasant.
