  1. We've got to wait as always, much further north latitude for them... Full clear dark sky's above here, just about to water the potatoes now the water pressure is up.. then tea in the garden
  2. Well I'm up sat in the garden with the dogs for a few more hours yet, (got to water the cabbage/potatoes and eat my tea so we will see. Lots of bats flying around currently and the stars are showing above
  3. 25c now inside and out, all windows curtains and doors open for the whole night until the morning now. It's worked really well and did it for a good few nights to realy cool the the house down.

  5. Same here Shuggee, best part of the day.. As you say don't we just love extremes. Max temp of 35c here today at my location. Dropping realy cold now at 28c
  6. 32c here now and dropping, 24c in living room, I've opened East facing curtains but no windows until/if temp droops below inside temp. Dreading tomo but it will be an experience..
  7. 32c outside here..a 'bit' more pleasant with sun dropping now and I'm sat outside for the first time today with a cold beer in the shade. 24c inside and I've opened the east facing curtains to let some light in but no windows until/if temps outside drop below inside temp.
  8. Not good news, The Peak Park have closed all access land here until further notice due to extreme fire hazards. I expect we will here of more over the next day or so..
  9. Yes absolutely, that hot wind is something I've never experienced, the leaves in the plantation behind my house are just rattling bone dry. I can see an early fall this year..
  10. Unbearable heat for me outside, what with wind to. Just keep nipping out for 5 with the dogs, glad to get back in the house after!

  16. 32c here on the Davis, My house looks like a Spanish Villa all curtains are shut and temp 22c in living room.
  17. Ukv also shows showers for central area's on Tuesday and the S/W.. 20c here currently and will be sat out in the garden for a good while yet!
  18. Same here Snowy, cooled my two Boarders off with a cold shower mid-afternoon. Will be keeping them inside for the next two days apart from v early/v late walks and a quick run into the lawn..
