Damn I come across as snappy on these boards! No offence meant, just pointing out that it's just as frustrating for some in this region as you lovely people up north. So often the last couple of years Kent has copped the goods while the majority of us get nowt. Damn them and their eastern-ness...
None taken. But your posts do come across as rather snappy so you may want to address that before someone does take offence.

and just to upset the wagon cart further, heavy snow showers effecting east anglia at the moment
C.S
I was telling some SE members in chat to watch out for those showers coming in off the North Sea. SE definitely the place to be for snow at the moment!
Oh there is?
Didn't know that! Some localised fog here, making it seem very cold.
Yeah theres a button 'station select' and it brings up a list of other weather stations nearby. Quite handy actually!
-
That's my station, LL
Plummeted now to +3.3C thanks to some shallow fog.
But there's 2 in Runcorn lol. I presumed yours was the other one. One currently at 3.2c and one at 3.9c
-
Seems about right for Runcorn Backtrack, but drastically varying temps all over the NW.

Yup, down to 0.3c now and dropping -1.3c/hr
-
1.5c here with dense fog.
-
Morning
Still foggy here. Damp and mild. 5C
-
Yep cold again from Wednesday onwards with overnight frosts.
-
Thick fog here. It's like something out of a John Carpenter film.
-
I kid you not I have a rose still out. Lots of snowdrops here. Daffs poking their heads through the soil etc.
I have to laugh but whenever I see palm trees in gardens around here they are usually dead stumps.

Its been very spring like today, in fact some of the summer flowers are still going.. I took these on a walk today!
Flowering Geraniums in February!
A little early perhaps.
Valerian doesn't usually flower in February (sometimes it does), but can flower year round in very mild climates.
Seasonal periwinkle flowers
Snapdragons in February!
Camellia..
some Hebe flowers out (fairly normal)
Nice scenes of silhouette in the sunset.
Spring is always here.. lol
SP I could give you a great big kiss right now.
Very Pretty.

Some of you need to take a step back from the forum for a few days. It really is like a playground in here at the moment. Personal remarks about other members are completely unacceptable.
-
Anybody else want reporting or their posts deleted?

not bickering, just stating facts as opposed to half truths LL
You're not stating facts, you're giving YOUR opinion.
-
Well aren't some of you rays of sunshine today. Please stop the bickering as you spoil the thread for others.

Its foggy and really icy here in leyland this morning but its all melted as soon
as the fog lifted. I went to bolton and over there is about 10cm of snow.
Leyland has none.
Hi Phillip. Welcome to the forum. Just down the road from me.
Yes the fog was bad this morning, visibility was very poor driving.

Afternoon all
To those fortunate enough to get snow, get out and enjoy it. To those of us including myself who got nowt. I'm sure our time will come before winters out.
-
Freezing rain for most of the day here alza
-
Just nearly come a cropper outside. Not quiet sure how I'm going to walk the dog later. The rain is freezing upon contact to pretty much everything.

As frustrating as it is for some of us. Can we please refrain from swearing and SE bashing. These kind of posts will not be tolerated.
-

Those are great! Especially for a first attempt!
By far the best person to ask is OON. Pm him, I'm sure he'd be happy to help.
