    typically our 4wd is off the road getting the shocks done so having to use hubby's audi (which is crap because we dont all fit in it!!) anyway he has just took my mam home and apparantly the roads are quite bad, not been gritted. Is this it for us or is there still some hope?

    Have the Met changed us to amber for snow or is that just the cold weather alert? my pregnant brain can't work it out.......!! Temp here 0.8c, with a dewpoint of -4.6c

    The Met Office site has gone a bit haywire I think, they released the warnings on twitter with a link but the link isnt working, in the email I got it said we are yellow for snow on Sat and Sun. I guess only time will tell how we do out of it though

    Lowest we got down to was 2.2c overnight, currently 3.5c with a dewpoint of -2.4c.

    I think having an interest in the weather is hard work! Especially when it comes to snow. I would hate to be a forecaster right now as I think things are so bloody changeable in our region atm

    my station is currently on a trampoline pole, so not getting a true wind speed/direction, but hoping to get it on the chimney just after new year, if not before

    completely non weather related, im pregnant so cant drink, but your description of having a few has me drooling, i have an out of control craving for sherbet and non in the house!

    no not raining yet, still very dark though. I can hear it all melting outside though which sucks

    Teeny weeny little bits of white all over the pavement this morning, nothing major AT ALL but enough to get the kids excited that it was "snowing".

    I only got it yesterday, the station I had before this one couldn't go online so hubby had his ear bashed until he got me this one for xmas, and I was so impatient when it came yesterday I couldn't wait till xmas day to set it up I think theres gonna be a story in the gazette about me setting the website up last week and I'm hoping some kind person might offer to go on the roof for me to put it on the chimney for not lots of pennies!

    Not the same I know, but mine is here: http://www.wunderground.com/weatherstation/WXDailyHistory.asp?ID=ITYNEAND7 (until the website goes live). Wind not accurate until it goes on the roof next week but everything else should be spot on
