  1. More incoming - turning out not a bad night this end. Don't worry Teesside areas should see their fair share as the night wears on. I've always much preferred showery snow that frontal. I can't remember the last time I saw a decent snow depth off one.
  2. Bet you're buzzing Gavin Nice to hear though.
  3. Just shows you - from one small shower it's deposited 1-2cm's if you get stuck under these for a while it soon mounts up. Good luck everyone.
  4. Light snow in Washington again now. Edit: Moderate snow 6/10 - thick and sticking everywhere.
  5. Sunderland to Tyneside for the next bunch of showers if they maintain.
  6. They look to be heading more direct west rather than nw on the radar to me; more so as they get closer to the coast.
  7. That looks like a little beast of a shower up near Ashington wouldn't mind being under that
  8. I reckon after midnight a lot of the region will start to see something.
  9. Next couple hours looks interesting doesn't it...the snow machine has started. Just need them to have a bit more to them before I get too excited though.
  10. Got a nice little covering / sugar coating from the last shower so already some laying - radar looks canny (ish) for a few areas, once the north sea fires up a little more.
  11. Definitely more shower activity - if it looks interesting by 11pm I may stay up late
  12. I know although shame we haven't much to report on
  13. I think it might miss Hartlepool as it's on a more se-nw flow but then again I struggle to work it out sometimes when there's not many about.
  14. Light snow here in Washy now. Lamppost streaming away but nowt lying yet.
  15. You can see how it intensified your way Nick
  16. Watching this which may have my name on it lol. How sad that I have to watch a lone scraggy shower hoping it'll intensify to drop a CM
  17. Is it expected to turn NE later tonight or tomorrow?
  18. Looks like Northumberland is the place to be at the minute - possible streamer setting up?
  19. It looks like it yes but further south in the region the radar returns suggesting it could be sleety. Either way nothing to write home about yet I just wanna see that radar light up like a Times Square Christmas tree (prob won't happen) and then I'll happy.
  20. Warnings from 6pm - 1-3cm possible. Not amazing but you never know - nowcasting will be needed.
  21. please delete mods - checked the pressure charts.
  22. Shower activity certainly making more inroads now but mainly Northumberland as the target (albeit very light at the moment).
  23. That's what I was thinking but didn't want to jinx it. I'm trying to be less enthusiastic as a reverse psychology thing but we'll see. I don't think they're forecast to deliver much but you never know. If the likes of our coastal members report snow then it'll probably be snow everywhere.
