    Not looking forward to trying to get from Canary Wharf to Watford tomorrow morning at about 8AM, doubt the trains are going to be running from Euston

    Wow looks like we have had quite a bit more snow here overnight. Around 10-15cm on the ground and still very light snow falling currently.

    Snow coming down heavily, temperature now down to 0.4 degrees, and its settling on all surfaces

    The snow is perhaps the heaviest its been all day now. Plants and grass turning white, and very very slight settling on paths. Temperatures refusing to fall still, 0.6, and dewpoint has risen up to -0.1 now.

    \ I really hope you are right! Met office going for snow all night, but can't see it happening myself, would love to be wrong though. Heavy snow still refusing to settle, temperature down to 0.6, going in the right direction, just incredibly slowly.

    Still coming down heavily here, albeit tiny flakes. Really hope it will start settling soon, temperatures falling so slowly, down to 0.7 degrees now.

    The last few hours have been poor here weather wise. Snow getting progressively lighter and temperatures rising to peak at 1.4 with dewpoint above freezing. After waking up to a good covering this morning, there are now just patches of snow on grass, roofs, cars etc. However we now have small flakes coming down quite heavily and temperatures have started to fall quickly, AT: 1.1, DP: -0.2. Many more hours of snow to come, with temperatures falling to below zero to allow a good covering, or so I'm hoping

    Snow has stopped here. With a light dusting and falling temperatures, I really hope it starts up again soon as would be nice to get 5cm or so.

    Yayyy. A decent covering here with moderate snow falling . Temp: 1.3 and falling, dew point: -2.1. Things are looking good.

    Just looked outside and its snowing lightly (perhaps sleet). Not settling at the moment, but its a start . Temperature: 2.4 degrees, Dew Point: -1.6, both on a downward trend at the moment. Very much in line with the met office forecast for my location so far.

    Some showers are finally heading this way I think . Just want a small covering and I will be happy. At least at -1.6 degrees its going to settle if it snows. Edit: its starting to snow.

    Not much in the way of snow today, apart from 2 or 3 very heavy, but short lived showers. The walk home from work was rather unpleasent though, -1 temperature, strong winds and moderate snow shower

    Nice heavy snow shower at the moment, blowing everywhere, big suprise . Looking good for a couple more showers this afternoon . Edit: Heavy shower lasted about 90 seconds, nice while it lasted.

    Nothing at all here, hopefully some showers from North Norfolk can intensify and get this far inland, just too far south for the showers off the wash.

    Temp: 1.0 Dew Point: -4.1 Snow: Nowhere to be seen.

    Getting chilly out there, 1.5 AT and -3.6 DP, hopeful for at least a dusting tonight.

    All the showers from the wash seem to be going past just a few miles to my North :/ T: 1.9 DP: -2.1

    Slowly but surely getting there. Current Temp: 2.1°C High Temp Today:2.4°C at 11:45am Dew Point:-0.5°C

    Very light flurries on and off here. Radar and rain alarm show some showers are heading this way.

    Hmm not sure my local weather station is working correctly. About 10 minutes ago it was showing a dew point of 1 degree, now showing -0.1. Could well be correct as the Cambridge weather station is showing -1.4 dew points now. Dew point dropping very nicely, hopefully air temperature can too, currently 2.2 degrees.

    Dew Points falling really rapidly here. DP: 1.0 (1.6 30 minutes ago) AT 2.2 (down 0.2 in last hour) Shower activity starting up in the wash too

    Been snowing quite a lot over the last couple of hours, some heavier bursts, too warm to settle at the moment though.

    Rain Alarm says that precipitation, having sat 12-13 miles away for a couple of hours, is now just 6 miles away. Temperatures slowly dropping, hopefully going to be some wintry precipitation soon.

    I was wondering about this too. Has been dry all day here, but I had been expecting it to rain. Temperatures gradually falling, 4.4AT and 4.1DP, but thats not much good if there isnt any precipitation around. Meto not predicting any precipitation for my location until later in the evening though, and is going for snow/sleet, so will be keeping an eye out.
