    Snow on cars, plants, roofs etc,not much but nice to see, and moderate snow falling.

    Snowing here for 60-90 minutes now, only light and temps still above freezing so not settled anywhere as far as I know. Would be nice if some of the heavier snow could push north to here, but whether it will I have no idea.

    Temperatures and dew points still slowly falling. Temp 1.7 and DP 1.4 now. Eventually, if the precipitation continues, then we will get to the right side of marginal.

    Temperatures falling more quickly now, from 2.6 to 2.3 in about 20 minutes. DP also fallen from 2.3 to 2 in that time. Sleet falling. Edit: 3 minutes later Temp 2.2/ DP 1.9, promising.

    Peterborough weather station showing 3.0 degree Temperature and DP of 2.7, St Ives weather station showing 2.9 Temperature, DP 1.6. Temperatures consistent but big variation in Dew Points considering they are only 20 miles apart, so I'm not sure what to believe being stuck in the middle of those two weather stations, I guess I'm probably somewhere in the middle of that.

    Met Office Updated forecast for here, slowing decrease in temperatures and pushing back heavy snow till 9PM, seems a lot more likely based on current conditions. T:3.0 degrees, DP: 2.7.

    Yeah I'm in Sawtry so only 15 miles or so from you. I'm still hopeful for some snow later on tonight though, perhaps 6Pm as the Meto were saying is a little too optimistic, but snow will almost certainly at least fall tonight if the precipitation is there.

    Latest meto forecast showing heavy snow from 6PM-12AM for my location. As much as I try to ignore the meto computer forecasts, I'm pretty happy by that. Their forecast is pretty spot on so far for temperatures, forecasting 3 degrees at 3PM, although temperatures have still got a long way to go for snow, but conditions going in the right direction: 13:30: T:4.0 DP:3.7 13:45 T: 3.8 DP:3.5 14:21 T:3.6 DP: 3.3

    0.2 degree drop in temperatures and dew points in last 15 minutes according to weather station, going down at a good rate, hopefully this can keep up, then by 6PM or so things could get interesting. 13:30: T:4.0 DP:3.7 13:45 T: 3.8 DP:3.5

    From a high of 4.3 degrees, temp down to 4 degrees now, slowly falling, DP still high at 3.7 but falling.

    Light flurrys here for most of the morning, obviously not enough for any kind of accumulation. Temperatures just creeping above freezing, not expecting too much of a thaw though today.

    Got the day of school today, very happy . So much for the 2-4cm met office prediction, just measured 11cm here, pretty amazing, and even more in other locations around the region

    Snow 13 hours in and still going pretty strongly .

    Snow almost stopped, looks like I may have one further heavy snow shower though from the stuff close to Cambridge, although it may skirt to my North. Temperatures falling now, roads going to be bad in the morning as completely covered now. Edit: Snow still coming down quite well. About 90 minutes ago I cleared a bit of ground, now has about an inch of snow on it, the snow earlier was really heavy!
