    Torrential rain here, massive rain drops, no thunder or lightning at the moment though.

    A few showers today and a few rumbles, but dissapointed as there have been some big storms pretty nearby that all missed me. Radar looking very impressive for huntingdon/goddy, enjoy!

    Will be watching this storm over next few days as going to Florida on Saturday. Ernesto seems to be the focus at the moment, unsurprisingly, but have heard talk that TS Florence is unlikely to grow in the next 24-48 hours, but could intensify after that.

    Nothing of interest here last night/today, about 14mm of rain so far, maybe a few more mm to come, but nothing as extreme as forecast here.

    I reckon EA could still see some storms, light shower here now so there is some convection occuring Very confident that Wisbeach area will get a storm looking at the radar

    Is now a bad time to say that the storms I saw today were the best I've ever seen . Back in cambs now so hot and humid, appears to be some convection kicking off

    Yeah saw that, just shows how bad our weather can be sometimes. When I knew there was a storm risk today I never imagined it would be this bad, think they may have been supercells earlier with loads of lightning and reported golf ball sized hail.

    Was so amazed by the storm this morning at about 11 or something, Loughborough uni was completely flooded, can't imagine it now of you have even more rain.

    At least 10p sized hail had covered all the fields to the east of leicster, wanted to have a closer look but was on the train.

    Storm no.3 sorry EA guys that are storm starved today. @guy in last thread, your mate was not lieing, about 10 miles easy of Leicester I realised all the fields were half white, there had been 10p piece at least sized hail, was amazed. Stormy in Melton Mowbray noW

    What a day so far! My post in midland thread: As expected, a huge storm hit Loughborough university a couple of hours ago, absolutely torrential rain for about 30 minutes and lots of T&L. I swear half the roads were under about an inch of water, heaviest rain I have ever seen this side of the atlantlic. Second big storm now, Lots of massive lightning and thunder at the moment here at Leicester statIon.

    Up above 20 degrees here now, feeling pretty warm and muggy out there, radar shows some more patchy rain coming this way though...,great :/
