People get carried away. If people follow the charts regular think back they'd remember that what the GFS is showing at around 200 hours 'the snowstorm' would only be around a 1-2% chance of verifying. 🤦😂 At the moment the only thing that would be reasonable to say is that it's turning colder again next week after a slightly milder few days with a small risk of Snowfall in the north from Monday with the risk extending southwards later In the week...

Beyond that would be pie in the sky.

If it was a few days away I could understand but a week is like next year in weather terms. Even the professionals can't forecast accurately a week away so what chance do we have!

Is alright there's only a few cart horses and sheep up north so there won't be much of an impact.

Local forecast for today has us peaking at 31 mph for today and we are hitting 40mph normally they are pretty spot on so the predicted 51 mph peak tomorrow is going to be interesting too see what we do actually get.

If this storm was going to hit to saf I'm sure there would be an Amber and the met office all over it. Typical bias as usual

    The voice of reason!

I was shocked to read some talking up chances of an easterly in the next 3 weeks on the other page ..Hard to see thats possible from the model output and I think Exeter would at least be dropping a hint if it was, so,  If it does happen I'll eat my sledge!

There is no voice of reason. Basically we don't know what is going to happen. All options are on the table going forward.
