You're much more knowledgeable than me but from past experience snow can appear pretty much out of the blue so I think it would be foolish to discount disturbances suddenly appearing

The wind is really picking up. Its so noisy. Is that because of the direction?

What are your guys thoughts on Friday? Metoffice has rain for North East from late Thursday till sat lunchtime? Yet bbc suggested rain further south??

I reckon an Amber for the NE is fairly likely. Worrying for Eastern Scotland though

Looking at latest bbc forecasts is ne England that gets most of the rain (the graphics) yet the Amber warning is ne Scotland. Wonder If it changes or atleast includes the NE England tomorrow?
