  1. it looks as though these will begin turning wintry soon... lower temps, heights, dews etc etc

This evening and tonight, it looks as though the low towards Scotland will move out Northeastwards, this is when The midlands have a slightly better chance with showers as the easterly flow of showers turn more northeasterly.....the tilt has begun in the last two radar runs to the naked eye....
  3. Hit and miss for the midlands it has been today, the south west midlands picking up some of the shower activity, but now really is the time for any showers to be of snow as the temps drop. The showers at this stage seem to be dying out. there is a streamer lookalike showing southwest of wales coming into the southwest midlands, besides nothing else...
  4. same here, i have noticed this aswell, it gets pushed back and back on every run....
  5. seems to be upgrades on gfs out to 165 on the 12z, or am i blinding??
  6. GFS from a mild outlook to a total flip to a zonal and at times colder outlook, ECM seems to be more reliable and decent mid range. Also FI eye popper (trend) at the end.

  9. 00z from 120+ is brilliant, its getting colder and colder and nearer and nearer to reliable timeframe. next weekend could be special, well it is my birthday...

  11. WEST MIDS WARNINGS OUT NOW http://www.metoffice...t_warnings.html now have light wet flakes of snow in Birmingham
  12. radar looks very unexpected for the West and East Midlands at this moment in time. wasnt expecting chunks of snow bands all over the Midlands at this time/ looks as though a cm or two in places at that pace.
