    Downgrade for our area bluearmy for more snow tonight did you say? BBC weather shows light snow untill at least midnight tonight, will this be updated ?

    Yes, I nearly fell over a number of times earlier from unexpected ice under the snow. Im happy I managed to get home without embaressing myself!

    Probably about 2- 3cm here, not heavy snow but moderate. Are we not expecting for the heavy precip to reach us then? Sunday looks interesting by the way!

    Its snowing now, few flakes blowing about in the wind! Im very excited now. God knows how happy I'll be by this time tommorow. I am such a big kid!

    Has anyone got any snow from this band of precip moving towards London. It is apparently over me now, but its not snowing! I didn't even realise there was a chance for snow tonight!

    Wow, GFS charts have changed a bit since last nights 18Z. Showing at least 24 hours of continuous snow if that came off. Also does anyone know why we are an amber alert on MO, but shows Red Alert when you hover over the map?

    I guess the football will be called off if everything goes perfectly I.e. lots and lots of snow. I wouldnt mind watching a bit of football in the snow, although im not sure the players would agree.

    BBC weather showing continuous light snow from 11am Friday to 12am Saturday night. Is that reliable? Highs of -1 on Friday too! Nice.

    Looks decent for Friday on GFS!! Although Im not getting excited untill +12 hours out, as yesterdays event was slightly disappointing for me. Although Im sure it wont pan out exactly like this, these are promising prospects none the less.

    What time does the wrap around happen that could cause more precip? Im going to miss the snow, as Im going on a trip to Hampshire, not back till about 7! Will it still be snowing then?

    Is that band of ppn due to give this region anything? Looks as though moving SE towards us. Also what accumalations are likely from the latest NAE - 5 - 8 cm ?
