It just feels good to be outside when its warm, even when its dark - relaxing in the garden when its not too hot or too cold is great, I would sleep in a hammock in my garden when its this warm at night if I had one!My neighbours love it as well, they didnt come in until about 2AM last night...Also CC - I'm only talking about weekends when Ill stay in the garden after dark, not mid week.

What is this supposed to mean? If by the term "dole wallah" you mean unemployed and on benefits, that is not the case as I am employed by Waitrose. I have just finished college and do not start for another 2 weeks, in which means I can enjoy the 30C days in the garden or at the park. I love the heat, and that is whats good about it, although I can understand those who are stuck in an office may not feel the same! Getting back on topic, it has become very smoggy-ish here, and the sun has been hidden for the last hour or two, I dont know where this smog-like cloud cover has appeared from. And also some stupid person seems to be setting fireworks off at the moment too, I wonder if they realise that they are only supposed to be used when it's dark...

The 18Z almost looks too good to be true when just a few days ago I thought this spell would be ending by Monday. Lets hope this trend of warm to hot conditions for next week continues over the next day or two, I will most certainly be happy if it does! Monday, +10 uppers over most of the UK, producing: Tuesday This theme continues for the rest of the week. I do hope it comes off! -
This settled spell has been very good for my area, we've had wall to wall sunshine from Friday - Tuesday (few clouds on Monday though) and its been more sunny than cloudy today too even though BBC had it down for mostly cloudy. And it's looking like it's going to be getting warmer again going into the weekend and into next week - not much more I could ask for

Hi guys, another nice day here, a bit more in the way of cloud, but not too much. It's looking good for the weekend, and I'm thinking somewhere in our region should break the 30+ barrier, as the GFS shows somewhere maybe hitting 32C. Also looking decent next week too! We've not had any rain at all now I think for around 6 - 7 days!! Grass is starting to turn brown as well, and in my opinion this has been a great settled spell, long may it continue. -

The 06Z keeps it warmer for a bit longer for most of Central, Northeastern and Southern England going into Tuesday. This run shows it only getting noticeably cooler in Scotland, Ireland, Northwestern England and part of Wales. As we can see the heat is slowly fading away here, but not for long on this run as High pressure tries to reassert itself over the UK later in FI: All in all, a nice run there with some encouraging signs for High pressure to rebuild over most of the UK by next weekend. -

I know this is pretty much cherry picking but I couldn't resist: Now that would be HOT! Anyway, back to the garden for me now... -

And also to add to Tony's comments, how far East would you expect to be affected by cloud? The GFS, from having a quick look at, doesn't look too bad at all to me, apart from the late stages of FI where there seems to be a lingering low pressure system over us. -

Hi guys, Hope your enjoying the nice weather today, it's feeling quite warm already here! I'd just like to say - I've never seen a BBC forecast looking as good as this for the next 5 days. Enjoy the weather and have a good weekend all -
I just finished college, so it is pretty perfect timing in order for me to enjoy the upcoming warm/hot spell I'm hopefully going to be starting work in the next few weeks, although only part-time - so I may still miss some of the sun depending on how long this spell is going to last!

Nice run from the 06Z here: High pressure building very nicely as you can see at +57. +10 Upper air temp reaching all of Southern and Central England as well as parts of Northern England and Ireland also at +57. And by the start of the weekend +10 uppers reach practically all of the UK, producing some nice temperatures: Into the working week and beyond - things still look very nice and warm for most: This theme continues throughout FI, with +10 uppers staying with the UK most of the time - keeping temperatures nice and warm. And now to look forward to some nice temperatures at the weekend, where we will actually see some proper Summer weather for once!! -

I think the GFS predicted 25C for London on Sunday but reached 27C I think at Heathrow. So I believe temperatures will still be hot in London, though it does look like further North/West will see the hottest temps from looking at the GFS. -

When these articles arrive - things usually go Pear shaped, almost like the paper jinx the weather! Although the amount of times papers report about incoming heatwaves during summer, they are bound to get it right once, surely!? Anyway as this is the Model discussion, I guess I better post a chart or two! +10 Uppers just about creeping into the far SW at 126 hours, ready to pounce on the UK! +10 Uppers well into the UK by the end of the weekend, with +15's knocking on the door - but not quite making it. Producing temperatures such as these: Nice run, indeed. Nothing is nailed on Temperature wise, as of course we know but the trend is there - and lets hope it continues over the next few days. -

GFS showing it becoming warm again by Friday, after a brief cool down at the beginning of this week. 24C at 129 hours, happy with that! Lovely stuff, 26C! Even better, 27C - might get burnt IF it comes off! Lets hope these come off, and I will not be dancing until Wednesday comes around as that is a much closer/reliable timeframe. Still - promising signs that next weekend will be similar to temps seen today. -

I like the look of the 06Z ! +10 Uppers start to move in by +30... With some nice and warm temperatures on Tuesday, too. As we go into Wednesday it gets warmer with most of Eastern, South Eastern and parts of SW England under +15c uppers! Thursday also looks like a warm day, before temperatures returning back to normal. And I know it's only the 06Z which might not be too trustworthy but I enjoyed the run nevertheless! Hope to see some Thunderstorms along the way too this week! -

I wish I hadnt looked at the 18Z now because I think I'll be dissapointed when I wake up. I'd love a bit of 30C on Wednesday - I guess it's only three days away but we'll see if the 00 & 06Z agree later. -

Looks to me as though the GFS 00Z has downgraded temperatures a little for Friday & the weekend, although I haven't viewed the ECM or UKMO, so Im not sure what temperatures their predicting. Nevertheless, it still looks pleasantly warm from viewing the GFS! Now we can't be complaining about that, can we. Bring on the heat!!! -

Only just checked the GFS today for the first time in a long time, and YES, it looks pretty decent!! High pressure over us for most of the Bank Holiday weekend... Some warm ish temperatures in South... Warmer for most of the country by Monday(week away so things will change) Obviously, as you can see Im excited for the Bank Holiday and Summer - this may not be correct information above, but heyho. Meantime looks dry and warmish from viewing only GFS! New one must be coming out now I guess. Bring on the Summer!!! -
