    This is probably going to be worth having its own thread if things carry on. The Mediterranean(Black Sea as well) has already seen a couple of extreme events this Winter, and is well above normal temps for the time of year. The Adriatic Sea(between Italy, and Balkans/Greece) is off the scale. This could result in coral die off, and mass sea life death if it carries on to the Summer.

    We booked a short break in Venice 2 weeks ago. Federico Pavan , the great Italian tornado investigator had been complaining about the same weather with fog added for weeks. I promised him sunshine. We had 4 glorious days, it broke the day after we left and now Rome has had flood warnings, Veneto is underwater, and a major Mediterranean storm progresses. It did us the world of good.
