    New volcanic eruptions in La Palma WWW.BBC.CO.UK Two new vents are causing further eruptions from the Cumbre Vieja volcano in La Palma.

    It is an interesting one, and cant fail to affect the North Atlantic weather systems. The reason for the cut off graphic is that the NOAA computer cant generate wind field graphics above a 60N or 10W as we discovered when Ophelia struck a few years ago.

    His about this then...NOAa have a Saildrone in the middle of Sam sending footage of the ocean with 50 foot waves being created.     It's a fish, surprised it turns North so fast, although this one could well affect the west coast of Europe (including us) at some point late next week.

    The volcano had a brief lull today, stopping the worst of its emissions and noise for a period. This seemed to happen at the same time as increased seismic activity in the south of the Island near Fuencaliente, although 10km deep!.
