  1. Very light but steady snow here, so sign of a thaw yet temp 0c. Dont appear to have lost much depth, still at 5 inch
  2. Just caught the Beeb forecast, Sundays event looking to be much more extensive, covering england on a line from Portsmouth - Birmingham - Wrexham eastwards. Not sure if I want to disappoint myself by looking at charts now
  3. 5 inches here in southwest MK, stopped snowing now. Roads (apart from some village roads) not too bad if driven sensibly.
  4. -1.3 here in the wilds of north buckinghamshire, not sure about DP (ooo err). Judging by the uksnow tweets looks like the snow starts well after the radar would suggest
  5. Tomorrows front appears to be just reaching lands end on the radar - bit earlier than was predicted this morning.
  6. Bideford Green snowshield? Doesnt look like it's in a hurry to move away does it?
  7. T'was snowing gently in central aylesbury when I left at about 5. Almost made the place look ok, but it was dark.
  8. It looks like the red warning and the text are generic. Whichever amber region you click it's the same text, only the map changes Perhaps a mistake?
  9. Amber Snow.......much healthier than the yellow stuff they were predicting this morning
  10. Personally I'm just going to enjoy todays weather. Freezing fog out there this morning, as the sun rises the trees are going to look epic. Wish I could grab a camera and go out snapping.
  11. judging by how quiet the model thread is I'd guess we must be in for a spell of no weather!
  12. If only town's opponents did the same when they visited eh?Nice clear skys here, very sparkly. I'll cross my fingers that the bit hitting 'boro at the moment makes it this far, but suspect it's a forlorn hope
  13. Ahh I get it now, so it's a low all down the east coast thats causing it? I only managed to glimpse a few graphics today and thought it was going to come from a small low pressure centre - whats actually there must be much more elongated.
  14. Brummies appear to be getting some at the moment, looks like it's hitting them from the cheshire gap. So still some cold air lurking to the west as well as the east.
  15. I dont think thats the wrap, just coastal showers due to the easterly wind up there. Pretty slack flow hence not making it far inland. When the wraparound starts properly it'll make it much further inland
