  3. Derwent Valley near Bassenthwaite Lake, North Cumbria seems to do well from these E / NE'y flows originating from the other side of the pennines, plenty of activity moving in on the radar
  4. flicking between quite calm and clear skies then sudden snow showers appearing out of nowhere with blizzard conditions and near gale force winds lasting around 10 mins for it to clear and go back to being pretty calm again. good covering now -1.9c Liam J - I am in the Isel area of the Derwent Valley, just down from Bassenthwaite Lake
  5. horizontal snow here for the last 30 mins on a strong E to NE'ly wind
  6. been lashing down with moderate to heavy snow for the last 20 mins, blowing around in a 20mph gusty wind
  7. so far 5 days of snow falling, 4th day of snow lying with a max depth of 11cm, now down to 6cm, slight drifting of snow in places, so for here 6/10 for snow lowest temp has been -2c with it regularly being 1c by day -1c by night, so very poor here for cold, where -7c/-8c is easily achieved in valley bottoms in the blink of an eye. At least its been cold enough to maintain snow cover so i guess 3/10 for cold 4.5/10 overall
  8. Not too far away from Caldbeck, id imagine theres been a good fall of snow there too! cant even see the Northern Fells at the moment, cloud very low almost misty
