Currently 21.1C with temperature rising steadily, so decent heating occuring.
Thunderstorms have already stared to kick off in the SW. The netweather storm forecast has large parts of the region in the highest risk zone for storms, another interesting afternoon coming up.
Before that, roast beef to be consumed for lunch.
Not as warm today, but still quite muggy, currently 19.8C. Thought it might be significantly fresher overnight, but was still a bit on the warm side for sleeping, only got down to 14.1C. A mostly sunny sky right now.
Other than a rogue couple of strikes, the line of showers through Shropshire have failed to ignite so far. Shame, as they look to set to barrel right through here.
A roll of thunder and torrential rain here. The main storm potential has moved N of here now though by the looks of it. Looking good for West Lancs up to Cumbria. It's a monster.
Heavy rain here now and sky really dark. Some very distant booms to the West, but that will be as good as it gets here I think. Painfully close to getting battered by storms.
Some distant rumbles here. Things have clouded in, but too far East here at the moment. Need the stuff down in Shropshire to expand East had further ignite to have any chance here.
I find that when I zoom in by double clicking the screen, the strikes disappear. If you use the zoom (plus) button on the actual screen, this doesn't happen. Don't know if this is the issue?
