Just taken a delivery, speaking to the delivery driver who's been all over the south east this week, he was amazed at how the snow has been so hit and miss, one town could have 10cms then 10 miles down the road, only a dusting. Ain't mother nature great -

Unless the radar picks up soon, we're going to be left empty handed again, despite what the computer models have been saying. For anyone who likes winter weather, and is thinking of moving, don't move to the Sussex coast, unless microscopic snow particles that dissipate instantly upon ground contact, or rain, are your thing.

No snow and no freezing rain. Please deliver one or the other, mother nature. (Maybe the outside chances of snow this afternoon along the coast as the 850 temps are forecast to go below freezing again, and the air temp is still below freezing - at least it is at the end of worthing pier with -1.3) Looking at the radar in France there's nothing coming up! What's going on?!

Just got hail/sleet/snow. The snow o meter for today... Hoping for a dump of freezing rain.....the next best thing..

Will be amazed if it snow here later. according to the ever unreliable weather app that you should never rely on for anything other than a laugh, the chances are the highest it’s been all week for snow, but the temp is forecast to be just 0

Can someone please let me know if there's even the slightest particle somewhere of hope that this dandruff might be turning into actual decent snowflakes and settling?

Walking home from work....can hear the snow land on my coat, such pathetic little bits too. its defininatejy not 100% snow falling. looks quite wet out now and nothing is settling. its going to be a mare in the morning!

Gosh. Really getting teased here. Snow stopped again, but sky turning darker. Hoping for some bigger flakes for a prolonged amount of time. Someone or something, somewhere, somehow, please make it happen for us southern coastal lot!

The gritters didn't quite reach NW HQ!

Finally some bigger flakes coming down, looking the NW radar, seems its only going to reach the ground when the colour is dark pink.

But this morning I am convinced there was either rain or sleet in the air!!

Dew point here is about -6 with the temp being -2 There was a guide on here where you add the dew point and air temperatures together and get a probability of snow.....would appreciate if someone could re post it!
