    70F is extremely rare in my location in October....

    A few of them are ranting and raving about how it is 'cold' when actually its pretty normal for this time of the year. What is not normal is to get 70F in Northern Ireland at this time of the year! I would say -0c minimum and 9/10c maximums is quite a difference to the 17c temperature on my mothers car this morning at 8am and the 70f max yesterday. Now come on where do you think we all are Murcia?

    Well it wouldn't be exceptional to get snow in October. Maybe in London but not here and Scotland. It does happen on occasion, perhaps lying snow but actual wet snow falling. NO.

    The thing is though, they've already had snow so it isn't that notable. It be more notable if we actually saw snow to low levels.

    Last year - September 22nd. 2011 - November 5th 2010 - October 17th 2009 - October 7th 2008 - October 29th 2007 - October 25th 2006 - November 1st 2005 - October 14th 2004 - October 9th 2003 - October 22nd 2002 - October 18th 2001 - December 5th.... 2000 - October 21st 1999 - November 19th 1998 - October 8th Don't know what the mean date is because don't know how to calculate it. But got 4137 days in total versus 5000 and something in every year added together.

    No of course I would but when someone says 'we are in business' I think to myself that there is going to be a good sharp cold snap next week. Not in 1 month.

    France is warmer than the British isles in the winter. And don't start about the Alps they are thousands of feet high.

    Well I don't want a foot of snow I just want a few snow showers... and i'm saying for us to get that we need the -6c uppers to come down.

    Explain to me I don't know what you mean? I know what Wet Bulb is but i'm not sure what you are trying to say. So really we need the blue uppers up in Faroe islands to come down here.
