Cairngorm hasn't got much snow at the moment just a light dusting any that's falling is melting very quickly Summit, 3600ft Ben Nevis is under fog at the moment so any snow on the top is impossible to see

Occasionally strong winds will also feature, with a risk of gales, chiefly in western parts and perhaps severe gales in exposed western areas at times. Temperatures should trend away from near-average values to probably become rather cold, with winds tending to veer more northwesterly, also giving an increasing risk of snow on Scottish mountains.
