  1. The week ahead forecast on Sunday went pear shaped on Monday. It has been a bit of a shambles every day since then as well. Blue skies here, and sunny & warm. Temp: 14.6°C - Hum: 54% - Dew: 5.4°C - Bar: 1032.17hPa - Wind: N @ 7mph.
  2. Sunny and feeling warmer than the temperature suggests. Temp: 12.6°C - Hum: 78% - Dew: 8.9°C - Bar: 1024.74hPa - Wind: ESE ~ S @ 3mph.
  3. March was a very windy month here, and cloudy for much of it. Sunshine levels increased towards the end of the month. Rainfall was bang on average, and the temperature was way above my own average, and the MetO derived average. 29 days saw double digit figures. No air frosts, just a single ground frost. Temperature: High: 18.3 °C - [March 30th] Low: 0.6 °C - [March 23rd] Average: 9.6 °C MetO derived Average: 7.1 °C Humidity: High: 99% - [3 Days] Low: 27 % - [March 25th] Pressure: High: 1034.6 hPa - [March 15th] Low: 986.1 hPa - [March 5th] Wind: Max Gust: 42 mph - [March 5th] Max Speed (10 Min Avg): 23 mph - [March 20th] Avg Speed: 6.8 mph High Wind Run: 5100 miles Dominant Dir: WSW Rainfall: Total: 66.2 mm MetO Derived Avg: 65 mm Max Rain Rate: 37.8 mm/hr - [March 3rd] Max Hourly Rain: 6.4 mm - [March 3rd] Max Daily Rain: 21.6 mm - [March 3rd] Solar Radiation and Sunshine Data: Max Daily High Solar: 983 Wm⁻² - [March 31st] Min Daily High Solar: 225 Wm⁻² - [March 16th] Max Sunshine: 10.9 hrs - [March 26th] Min Sunshine: 0 hrs - [3 Days] Total Sunshine: 97.3 hrs MetO Derived Avg: 124.3 hrs
  4. There were some sunny spells earlier, but it has completely clouded over now. Temp: 14.8°C - Hum: 62% - Dew: 7.6°C - Bar: 1023.40hPa - Wind: NNW @ 3mph.
  5. Just a teeny shower in the late afternoon here. A good timelapse for yesterday though, check out from around 4:30pm https://www.warehamwx.co.uk/cumulus/timelapse.htm
  6. Your ISS doesn't look to be too bad @vizzy2004 During warmer days, my Davis will report higher temps than the MO by 2 or 3 degrees, but I have two other ways of measuring the temperature fairly accurately, and they all concur with my Davis station. Funnily enough, the MO will adjust their max temperatures during the day, which end up being within a degree or so of what I had recorded. Temps can easily vary within a 50m radius, so i wouldn't worry too much.
  7. A bit of rain early this morning, but quite a nice day with plenty of Cu about. Temp: 13.7°C - Hum: 79% - Dew: 10.1°C - Rain: 4.6mm - Bar: 1009.99hPa - Wind: SW @ 9mph.
  8. Nice work viz! You just need to upgrade the rain collector now. ;-) I run a DIY FARS system on another weather station as an experiment, which I decided to leave, but I actually get a lot of downsides to it. I've gotten lower readings during warm temperatures, sometimes as much as two degrees lower when i check it against an accurate thermometer that is shaded and well ventilated. In my own opinion, I don't see the need for any fan equipment on weather stations in this country. It's more suited to climates that have regular heat of 35C+ and high humidity levels. 24 hour FARS is 100% overkill in our climate, daytime FARS is debatable, expecially so if your station is in an enclosed space. Why? Because the fan is likely to pull in the heat from surrounding objects like fences and walls, the fan would only be of use if it was in the open and getting a ton of sunshine (which in this country, is rare these days) Looking at the positioning of your ISS, if it were my station, I wouldn't bother paying for it, you'll probably find it'll make absolutely no difference to temperatures during the Summer. Just my two penneth worth of course.
  9. Bright with some sunny spells, but windy. Temp: 14.1°C - Hum: 75% - Dew: 9.7°C - Bar: 1010.43hPa - Wind: SSW ~ SW @ 11mph.
  10. Interesting day for the timelapse: https://www.warehamwx.co.uk/cumulus/timelapse.htm
  11. 9.4°C here. It'll go up on tonight's update, after a warm day & night.
  12. Close to some asperatus here: https://www.warehamwx.co.uk/cumulus/webcam.htm
  13. Mostly cloudy here, with the odd few bright spells. Temp: 14.6°C - Hum: 71% - Dew: 9.4°C - Bar: 1019.64hPa - Wind: SW @ 5mph.
  14. Light showers today, in fact, it was wetter than it was yesterday. A few bright spells mixed in as well. Temp: 13.1°C - Hum: 89% - Dew: 11.3°C - Bar: 1021.33hPa - Wind: SSW @ 11mph.
  15. You're probably looking for the term; elevated thunderstorms. I've been in a pretty good location for these over the years, as some move up from France, bringing little in the way of rain, but frequent lightning and not much in the way of audible thunder. A couple of links: http://www.theweatherprediction.com/habyhints3/729/ http://www.weather.gov/source/zhu/ZHU_Training_Page/thunderstorm_stuff/elevated_convection/elevated_convection.html Re Saturday; Nice to see another chance of some thunder, perhaps a bit more widespread.
  16. Not too bad today, some bright and sunny spells before it completely clouded over. Temp reached 14.3°C Temp: 12.7°C - Hum: 85% - Dew: 10.2°C - Bar: 1021.00hPa - Wind: SW @ 10mph.
  17. Another beaut of a day, slightly hazy, but feeling warmer than yesterday due to less wind. I've cleaned the pond filters and switched the pump on, clearing up nicely! The fish are certainly more active now. Temp: 14.6°C - Hum: 65% - Dew: 8.2°C - Bar: 1020.66hPa - Wind: E ~ ESE @ 7mph. Just tipped over 16°C - A lovely day! Much better than I expected.
  18. Sunny all day, but the wind gusting to 25mph for most of it, made it feel cold. Temp: 13.8°C - Hum: 59% - Dew: 6°C - Bar: 1020.18hPa - Wind: E ~ SE @ 9mph.
  19. 17.2°C on both the Netatmo and Davis stations. A great day for drying the washing too.
  20. Blue skies all the way! It is windy though. Temp: 16.1°C - Hum: 39% - Dew: 2.1°C - Bar: 1026.45hPa - Wind: NE @ 11mph.
  21. .. just been finishing off my aquarium, and popped out for a smoke break. I didn't realise how chilly it had gotten?! 2.5 °C at the moment.
  22. It was pretty rough around 2am this morning, recorded 40mph gusts. A nice drop of rain too! The sun is trying to squeeze out now, quite pleasant. Temp: 8.7°C - Hum: 83% - Dew: 6°C - Rain: 14.8mm - Bar: 1014.17hPa - Wind: SW ~ WSW @ 5mph.
  23. No showers here today, but it is nice to have the bubbling cloudscapes back again.
