  1. There's quite a rash of showers over Japan, they might make it this far?
  2. Currently 1.2°C here. Both wetbulb and dew point are conducive of snowfall. Just need the snow! I dunno about anyone else, but i've noticed that the wind has been nowhere near as strong as forecast. I know it is supposed to increase tomorrow and Monday, but the last few days have had light winds.
  3. Nice seeing Spurs on the receiving end of 2 nil. Choke On Your Sleeping bag
  4. A little bit of brightness here, close to sunshine. I'll be glad when all of this clears off, it has been a horrible period of weather.
  5. Just below it. I got sent it from a Chinese supplier on Amazon, but i'm debating whether to keep it or not. I do like PTZ cams, but the lens only goes down to 6mm when fully zoomed out, so there's less in the image - looks sort of zoomed in. It does have 4 x optical zoom though, but I have spotted a newer one that has 10 x optical zoom, tempted to try that out, as it it goes down to 5.1mm, so more fits in to the image.
  6. Yeah, i've got the colour cut IR on. It shows up more detail than black & white.
  7. Here's my new test cam: https://www.warehamwx.co.uk/cumulus/webcam_test.htm
  8. There were quite a few flakes coming down here, just a moment ago. Most since February 2015.
  9. Just as the temp hit zero, I spotted a darn bank of cloud rolling this way.. :/
  10. The moon is the brightest i've seen it in a long time! Everything is lit up, like there's a huge LED torch pointing down. I hope the cloud and poopy flakes of snow stay away, this is much better - and colder!
  11. For those who have access to Netweather's V4 radar, you can see the flow by enabling the 850hPa wind vector overlay.
  12. The sky is clearing here now, so the moon becoming visible, which is nice. I saw on my weather station that it says Lunar eclipse - I forgot all about it! What time are we likely to see a partial? weather permitting..
  13. 6°C here, 0.6°C above the MetO derived average.
  14. Conditions at my locations are not conducive of snow, so even if that blob makes it here, it'll be rain, possible sleet at best.
  15. Second day of death with no Easterly.. Temp: 2.9°C - Hum: 88% - Dew: 1.2°C - Bar: 1023.54hPa - Wind: NE @ 9mph.
  16. You can occasionally see one or two on the webcam.. sometimes frequent, then nothing for a while. Looking at decent accumulations at that rate.
  17. I've just been out for a smoke, and shone the flashlight in to the sky - one or two flakes blowing around in the wind.
  18. The wind is beginning to pick up a bit more now. It means a negative windchill!
  19. New anemometer arrived. I have also bought a new 10' steel galvanized pole, which is 1.5" in diameter. I will put it up with 4' below the bracket, and 6' above, so that the center on gravity isn't as high up, meaning it will hardly flex in strong winds. The cranked aluminium aerial pole reverberates in the wind too much. I'm looking forward to putting that up on the chimney on Sunday, during 35mph gusts.
