  1. Conditions at my locations are not conducive of snow, so even if that blob makes it here, it'll be rain, possible sleet at best.
  2. Second day of death with no Easterly.. Temp: 2.9°C - Hum: 88% - Dew: 1.2°C - Bar: 1023.54hPa - Wind: NE @ 9mph.
  3. You can occasionally see one or two on the webcam.. sometimes frequent, then nothing for a while. Looking at decent accumulations at that rate.
  4. I've just been out for a smoke, and shone the flashlight in to the sky - one or two flakes blowing around in the wind.
  5. The wind is beginning to pick up a bit more now. It means a negative windchill!
  6. New anemometer arrived. I have also bought a new 10' steel galvanized pole, which is 1.5" in diameter. I will put it up with 4' below the bracket, and 6' above, so that the center on gravity isn't as high up, meaning it will hardly flex in strong winds. The cranked aluminium aerial pole reverberates in the wind too much. I'm looking forward to putting that up on the chimney on Sunday, during 35mph gusts.
  7. You'll have to point out this roaring Easterly to me..
  8. Nondescript day, dreadful weather. Temp: 3.5°C - Hum: 83% - Dew: 0.9°C - Bar: 1024.35hPa - Wind: ENE @ 5mph.
  9. If you look at other factors for the same time frame, such as dew points, wetbulb temp and freezing level, there's enough evidence to show rain at low levels, maybe sleet if you're lucky.
  10. Yesterday's clouds made for an interesting timelapse: https://www.warehamwx.co.uk/cumulus/timelapse.htm
  11. Funny thing is, it won't even be an Easterly for here, until Monday. It then only lasts for 12 hours .. lol
  12. Blue skies from the off, here. There's more cloud around now, but it is still sunny. A low of 0.6°C, hard ground frost. Temp: 7.9°C - Hum: 77% - Dew: 4.2°C - Bar: 1026.99hPa - Wind: NW ~ N @ 6mph.
  13. Does anyone have a rough estimate of what the final figure may be? I reckon we should settle on 4.9C and get on with the scoring..
  14. Trust me, the report button was used many many times! I now have my index and middle finger taped up to a splint. I'm just pointing out, that I don't particularly want to read about you wanting to ban tweets, in the mod thread. It should be discussed with a mod, or asked about in the site suggestions thread. I personally don't have an issue with tweets being shown, if they are relative to the thread. The thing I can't understand is, why do people have to hit the quote, then reply button and start an irrelevant topic? All they need to do, is hit the "MultiQuote" + sign next to quote - it will store it in a cache, and then go to a relevant thread and use the "Quote 1 post" button to paste the quote in to the edit box? In the words of Jezza Clarkson, how hard can it be?
  15. It would also save a lot of nonsense if you didn't post things like that in the model discussion thread. I have never seen so much rubbish in that thread as I have done today. I struggled to find a handful of genuine model discussion posts in three or four pages. What does it take to get the message in to peoples heads?
  16. I'm glad that's a bug and not a feature lol
  17. Sorry, but I cannot get excited over 4°C and grey skies for a few days. The cold spell a few weeks back will still be better than this, because we had freezing fog, we also had sunshine, and 8 consecutive nights of below -2°C - it doesn't look like getting anywhere near as good as that.
  18. Made it to 11.8°C here. The THSW index was just above 15°C, it certainly felt like it while I was sat outside with a cwoffee.
  19. And welcome the grey skies in? I'd rather have the Pm/rPm back again, at least there's more chance of some sunshine. A depressing period of weather beckons!
  20. It was a sunny start until the Cumulus bubbled up. Temp: 9.2°C - Hum: 84% - Dew: 6.6°C - Bar: 1015.07hPa - Wind: W @ 6mph. The only joke in that thread, is him.
  21. Shouldn't at least one of those dip switches be enabled? Might be worth reading through this: http://wiki.trixology.com/index.php?title=How_to_change_the_station_transmitter_IDs_for_Davis_Vantage_Pro-2_hardware I bought the anemometer transmitter, i'm sure I have the 1st dip switch in the 'on' position, on the main ISS transmitter, and dip switch 2 in the 'on' position on my anemometer transmitter,
  22. I'll bet a pound that it won't be here! Minimum temps don't look anywhere near as cold as they did a few weeks ago, or the end of Nov/early Dec for that matter. I can't think of anything worse than an Easterly that just creates overcast days. I'm certainly not looking forward to it!
