  1. Managed 5mm here, and for a moment the rain rate got to 41.2mm/hr. It got gusty as well, around 28mph. Some interesting rain totals showing up by the end of Wednesday.. GFS up to Thursday 00:00: NMM Wednesday 00:00 to Thursday 00:00: Some decent spells of sunshine this morning. Temp: 14°C - Hum: 73% - Dew: 9.9°C - Bar: 1020.08hPa - Wind: SW ~ WSW @ 10mph.
  2. Currently at 11.7°C here. 0.4°C below the MetO derived average.
  3. Not a bad day. A cloudy start, then the sun came out, but it was breezy. Maxed at 17.1°C Temp: 14.6°C - Hum: 72% - Dew: 9.6°C - Bar: 1010.40hPa - Wind: SW ~ SE @ 8mph.

  5. Low risk, but a small chance of a Kent clipper tomorrow evening.
  6. Such promising skies, but alas, likely to be just drizzle. I just need some rain to be fair, my water butts are running on empty!
  7. That's 1 for the MHI. 3 or more mean you're in for a thundery Summer.
  8. As I just mentioned in the convective thread, not often you get a 994hPa pressure reading and have blues skies and warm temperatures. Temp: 18.4°C - Hum: 71% - Dew: 13.1°C - Bar: 994.24hPa - Wind: ENE ~ ESE @ 10mph.
  9. Not often you have a pressure reading of 994hPa and have blues skies and warm temperatures.
  10. I doubt it. TT index isn't too shabby, but marginal MLCAPE. The warm front may pep up on the radar over the next few hours, but its likely to weaken after hitting southern counties. An isolated rumble, or some elevated lightning a possibility. It'll be a far better opportunity tomorrow, for areas within that warm sector. I'll plump for somewhere between Gloucester and @Arnie Pie hehe
  11. To be fair, it'll be very hit & miss, so you won't get much in the way of detail from any of the forecasts. The usual 'radar & posts here' will be of more use.
  12. Blue skies ahoy! Temp: 16.4°C - Hum: 53% - Dew: 6.8°C - Bar: 1005.18hPa - Wind: E ~ ESE @ 10mph.
  13. Up to 16.1°C now. I've been knocking out some old joints between some paving, and re-cementing them. Sweating a lot!
  14. Sunny start, then clouded over. It's now sunny again, and feels like 18°C Temp: 13.7°C - Hum: 56% - Dew: 5°C - Bar: 1021.23hPa - Wind: NE @ 3mph.
  15. There have been dozens in the UK over the years! Lincolnshire was a prime example, back in 2012. Hinckley was battered by golf ball sized hail. Birmingham tornado of 2005, that storm was supercellular. I even experienced a supercell back in June 1983:
  16. Blue skies and warm too. Temp: 15.8°C - Hum: 50% - Dew: 5.4°C - Bar: 1026.79hPa - Wind: NNW ~ NNE @ 8mph.
