  1. Blue skies and warm too. Temp: 15.8°C - Hum: 50% - Dew: 5.4°C - Bar: 1026.79hPa - Wind: NNW ~ NNE @ 8mph.
  2. Sunshine early this morning, then clouded over, now the sun is coming back out to play again. Temp: 15.1°C - Hum: 63% - Dew: 8.1°C - Bar: 1022.45hPa - Wind: N @ 3mph. @Dorsetbred The skies did go weird here, yesterday - late afternoon. It looked thundery, despite it not being.
  3. A welcomed sight, even if it doesn't happen. It means that we can start thinking happy convective thoughts once again.
  4. April was quite a sunny month here, and reasonably warm. There was 1 ground frost, and 1 air frost. The average temp was above normal, and rainfall was certainly well below normal. 5. There has been a few sunny spells here, but mostly cloudy, although bright. Feeling warm too! Temp: 16.2°C - Hum: 65% - Dew: 9.6°C - Bar: 1010.23hPa - Wind: ENE ~ NE @ 6mph.
  6. While it has been dry recently, we're certainly not close to drought conditions in this part of the region. The last hosepipe ban I can remember, was decades ago.
  7. Lovely and sunny this morning. It's now cloudy and blowing a hoolie. Temp: 13.1°C - Hum: 65% - Dew: 6.8°C - Bar: 1020.01hPa - Wind: E @ 16mph, gusting to 28mph.
  8. No wind chill in effect down here, as the temp is currently above 12°C
  9. 'Feels Like' is a derived measurement from temperature, humidity and wind, and so a scientific formula is created from this. My Davis station calculates something called the THSW Index - It uses the temperature, humidity, solar reading and wind speed, to give an idea of how it actually feels out in the open - similar to a feels like calculation. Just a few weeks ago, the max temp hit 18°C, and the THSW index was in the mid 20's, and that's exactly how it felt while I was outside. It shouldn't be ignored.
  10. A few bits & pieces of sunshine today, only adding up to 2 hours though. Maxed at 16.1°C Temp: 12.9°C - Hum: 68% - Dew: 7.2°C - Bar: 1022.08hPa - Wind: NE @ 8mph. I seem from the charts that southern counties could see some wet stuff on Saturday?! It doesn't look like much at the moment though.
  11. Mostly cloudy today, but the sun does keep making an appearance - like now. Temp: 13.7°C - Hum: 63% - Dew: 6.8°C - Bar: 1021.74hPa - Wind: NE @ 10mph.
  12. Personally, I don't think any month is easy. But, I do like to put my guess in 10 or 11 days early.
  13. Phew! I needed a few points to get me back up the board a bit, as some of my previous months were way off of the mark.
  14. There's some weird cloud formations going on here. It reminds me of an impending storm in the Summer...... that is about to miss me.
  15. Gorgeous today, and feeling warm. Temp: 15.7°C - Hum: 64% - Dew: 8.9°C - Bar: 1019.61hPa - Wind: E ~ ENE @ 5mph.
  16. Despite having just a light shower today, the timelapse looked pretty good! https://www.warehamwx.co.uk/cumulus/timelapse.htm
  17. Heard nowt here. Just had a 0.2mm from a small shower, that's been it. Very disappointing in terms of rainfall. In fact, if you go back to Frday & Saturday's forecast, you could easily have written of Sunday and Monday, when they actually turned out to be pretty good, especially today. I'm rather surprised at the lack of shower activity that is spiraling around the LP, its very sparse.
  18. Nice view of a shower appearing on my cam. I'm not sure we'll get anything spectacular though.
  19. Something heavy heading my way, as can be seen on my cam. No electrical activity in it though.
  20. 7mm fell yesterday, and a further 1.4mm since midnight. There's some decent convection going on today, with some dark bases on clouds out to the East - hoping for something later on. Temp: 13.9°C - Hum: 69% - Dew: 8.3°C - Bar: 1002.81hPa - Wind: E ~ SSE @ 8mph.
  21. When we had that burst of heavier rain earlier, the forecast showed no rain for here. Now its showing heavy rain from now until 2am, yet the radar clearly shows quite a large dry area. Yesterday and today's forecasts have been absolute calamities of the highest kind.
