  1. Photo's don't do it justice to be fair. Formula 1 takes priority over this now, i'm afraid. .
  2. ..some nice clouds to my South, just making their way in to view on my webcam.
  3. .. just finished some garden work - sweaty pantz! Temp: 19.2°C - Hum: 74% - Dew: 14.4°C - Bar: 1018.63hPa - Wind: ESE @ 5mph.
  4. Cracking TT's again.. Those PWAT's are high too, so I can understand a risk of localised flooding.
  5. I feel sorry for the person who was using mspaint to draw up those areas..
  6. Here's my IP cam recording from early this morning. No sound i'm afraid, and just have a flick through, as I couldn't be bothered to do any video editing. I do believe, the +CG that hit, shows up somewhere around 25:00
  7. Hardly any sunshine today, and feeling a tad chilly in the wind. It was warmer at midnight than it has been in daylight hours. Gusting to 28mph. Temp: 15.9°C - Hum: 84% - Dew: 13.2°C - Bar: 1016.19hPa - Wind: SW @ 13mph.
  8. After this mornings epic storms, i'm now looking to Sunday night.. The DWD ICON you might ask? Well, the German model has performed very well. It pretty much got last nights/this morning activity nailed a few days before.
  9. Patience needed. The low to the West will pivot around, and the occlusion will push North, developing rain and hopefully storms.
  10. Very interesting indeed. Something I have noted in the years of owning Davis' stations, I have recorded above 200 mm/hr rates before, but to me, it seemed too high. The rain rate I recorded about 30 minutes ago, matches what the radar showed, pretty much bang on. Perhaps newer models have fixed an issue that they had?
  11. Yeah, That's down to my end. I have to set a delay of 800ms on it, because my upload speed is too poor to cater for more than a few people viewing it. If and when I get fibre (this side of 2020) i'll make it a fully live stream at 1080p
  12. 1.4mm fell in under one minute. 2.8mm in two minutes, and 3.8mm in three minutes. 145.8mm/hr rain rate. Note the pressure rise moments before it kicked off? Then dropped..
  13. I've just done a quick check of my station records.. 1.4mm fell in under one minute. 2.8mm in two minutes, and 3.8mm in three minutes. 145.8mm/hr rain rate.
  14. That was absolutely nuts! Best show for 12 years for me. Incredible +CG hit close by, I genuinely thought my anemometer had been hit. And it looks as though something else could be heading this way.
  15. That was easily the best show I have seen in the last 12 years. Incredible! +CG's are pretty rare, but when hits at close range, you know the difference between a negative and positive stroke, that's for sure.
  16. Holy s**t +CG within 200 yards at least! Loudest explosion I have ever heard!! Something was definitely hit
